All alone with unsilent eyes I gazed into darkness one cool night.
My world tossed and turned around me though I felt an emptiness within.
With hounds crying in the distance I lied alone there in my mountain retreat.
I longed for a damsel to love with all my heart and that's where my story begins.
The only two sounds I ever heard are the birds flying by and my heartbeat.
Blue summer skies make me happy as well as the sun that soothes my soul.
When I sleep I dream of the lady that I long to find one day. When I rise I still hope to find a love the makes my blood flow.
As I lay in my kingly bed I fall asleep under a canopy of stars.
The fire that warms my chamber warms me deep to the bone.
Again the hounds in the distance cry and I feel their pain inside.
Very soon I fall asleep until I rise again inside my stately home.
As a new day dawned I was aware of a beautiful voice from down below.
To my surprise it was a beautiful lady who had come to my castle door.
My unsilent world came alive and I felt love with this raven haired jewel.
My castle was now a happy home and my world was unsilent no more.
