Amber whiskey in tightly clutched glasses;
Hearts feign bravery while fingers intertwine;
Duality of feeling, desire and hesitation.

Embrace of eager tremble,
Breathless lips grazing your intoxicating smile,
Each soon lost in the moment.

Time’s river freezes. The world falls away.

Moonlight. Late nights and early mornings - I watched the stars dancing and falling. With each missed smile, each unmet kiss.
Waiting for your eyes, the jasmine scent of your neck.

Only giving you my voice, my everything. My life of song.
Remnants of swaggering resistance melting before me.
Purest hearts unabashedly shared.
Kissing me in between the raindrops you named me, you make me yours;

Your Siren. Your Valkyrie.

Guiding hands take stray hair from my face.
Fingertips on my cheek, my ears, in my hair.
The times of shared scars and quiet dreams.
Hope so clear and honey to the taste.

Guide me, I will lead, I will follow.
My melody to match our steps. Finding tune in pathway.

Listening of crashing waves again. Watching of the sun’s setting.
Looking at the dull pale mark where my ring sat.
Missing the weight of your talisman, your bespoke oath.

Phoenix of ache,  Burn bright with rebirth, Glow luminous in your heat, bask in you on shared ferocity;
Scorch away moonlight’s final tears.

It's so beautiful. It pulled every sinew of my heart wanting to engulf the subject with tenderness.

Such profound, evocative words that sing, sailing forth from depths unknown like a siren's call. Your words are like brief flashes of light, frozen moments, vivid and deeply moving. How I would suckle at your breast and drink deep your ambrosiatic words. Holding my empty cup aloft begging, please, may I have some more?
