Chorus

True love is out there we all hope

We pray to God or to the Pope

Sometimes there is an answer to our prayers

We find the one who truly cares

-----------------------------------------

She came up from Mexico City

She was a girl so smart and pretty

Had to find something to do

Got a job selling shoes

Chorus

She went dancing, drank some beer

Found herself in exception cheer

Meet some boys who tried to kiss

She turned her cheek and they did miss

Chorus

Then came a knight in shining armor

Named Raul, he came to charm her

He knocked upon her entrance door

Said, "I'm not leaving any more"

Chorus

They married so the story goes

Had many babies don't you know

They worked and bought a little home

They even had two cell phone

Chorus

The years did pass as water flows

She found true love the story goes

No regrets, life takes its toll

She made some changes and met her goal

Chorus
