I’ve never seen you face to face, but I can’t stop imagining your face next to my face. Your cheek to my cheek. Lips to lips. Eyes meeting eyes.

Are your eyes dark like mine? Do you ours twinkle when you think of me? Like mine do when I think of you?

Do you think of me?

I like to think you do, they way I do of you. Constantly. Anxiously.

Every moment I’m awake I’m thinking about you. Meeting you, touching you, simply being near you.

Even if all I have is words it’s okay. I can take it. I can’t be selfish and find you and lock you up just for myself.

I have to read the words and share you with the world. My stomach turns and I shudder every time I feel the vibration in my pocket.

I know it’s you. I can feel it.

I can sense that you’re thinking of me. I hope that you’re thinking of me.

Do you think of me?
