She released her hair,
bronze halo upon the pillow
as I lay her back,
just taking her in,
shirt barely covering the lace
keeping some of her treasures
hidden from view;
sly but coy grin evident through
all of her face--not just her mouth,
but cheeks, jaw, even those eyes
that first drew me in
all those months ago when she
simply brought me coffee
and served me in a quite
different way.
