To be water is to have balance. To be in contradiction with yourself but still to remain fluid. Fluid like blood, blood like family, partner, friend. Those who we encounter like it or not direct our path but still remain what we are, in constant change while not losing form. Water running through paths of the earth, hitting rocks but still has its flow. No water is ever in the same spot, the earth can't say "this is the same water that ran through this path yesterday". Sometimes the earth wishes it was water, to be dynamic able to progress without changing form, see the earth changes with its seasons but it's movement is always the same otherwise it loses form.

To be water is to be God and man. To be great on the inside and out, to have depths of lifeforms, to drown and bury secrets of things you've created and are not proud of, to contain universes. And also to be shallow, to be calm like the rivers. To be wave, to carry burdens wash them offshore and return back calm like a coping mechanism.

To be water is to be rain. To reach for the skies each time like a new lover only for it to have its fill, and shatter once more back to the basics. But it doesn't matter how many times because that's the only way you'd understand.

To be like water is to float. To dark and heavy as the night, but delicate and light enough to whisper dreams and nightmares to sleeping bodies. To bare your scares beautiful like the night does with the burning gas of stars because regardless you would be stared upon.

To be water is to die over and over as necessary for adaptation. To freeze, to boil and be steam, to float, to be fluid, to evolve but still made up of the same substance.

To be water is to have balance regardless of time and circumstance.
