my mind does not run in circles, overanalyzing Your words and actions.

my eyes do not search you out.

my lips do not release a silent gasp.

my teeth do not graze my bottom lip.

my breathing does not become labored.

my bare breasts do not tingle nor do my nipples harden with anticipation.

There are no butterflies in my stomach.

my hands do not touch my hair, my skin, nor my body.

my fingers do not touch the heat between my thighs.

There is no wet spot on the floor beneath me.

No. When i think of You, i am at peace.

i reflexively find myself on my knees, eyes closed, head bowed, hands resting (palms up) on my thighs, breathing controlled, mind clear, heart open, awaiting Your voice.

Yet,

i may be wrong about the wet spot on the floor beneath me.
