Instant coffee
in our bivouac site
weather came
we spent the night,
Lightening flashed
and we undressed
naked we
made love best,

Beneath a thin
motel sheet
where desire
and flesh meet,
Half struggle
half delight
rain and thunder
through the night,

Made us coffee
chipped white mugs
barefoot on
the motel rugs,
We drank it like
medicine
and then made
love, again,

Almost like
a morning kiss
something we
don’t like to miss,
Sex and coffee
très bien
would you like
some more, again?

We take turns in
the tiny shower
could watch you naked
for an hour,
The silhouette of
your action
our gravitational
attraction,

In our little
MG car
that has taken
us this far,
The top leaks
but we don’t care
you tie a scarf
around your hair,

The engine starts
we are blessed
the two of us
and all the rest,
We drive a road
that no one knows
and go where
no one goes ..
