We are but bone, flesh in water,
With calm, sadness and sorrow.
We have caring, kindness and are tender,
Tempered with a joyful happiness.
Abundant in life as well in a love of life.
But we are not without faults.

What are we?

Our hearts, souls and minds,
Along with these bodies have needs.
We all have been hurt and bruised
And have been sickened by others.
But have seen kindness to others.
Have given our heart to another.

Why are we?

Do others know the love you had for them?
Or felt the betrayal from those once loved.
You know the joy of a warm day.
You know the sexiness when cuddling.
The enlightenment from wisdom that's given.
And we know in time all will be healed.

Who are we?

We are you and all of you are us,
And together we're the make-up of everyone.
With the love, needs and betrayals,
And broken hearts, joys and warm days.

We are, who we are.
