Campus775 months agoI'm not as informed as Peter_Cleveland about the technical jargon of poetry, but I do know what I like. The feeling of a man confronted by his "friend" becoming his lover. The fear, the thrill, the repressed longing overcomes. It has happened to me.
Peter_Cleveland6 months agoIn well-crafted traditional verse--two quatrains of rhyming iambic pentameter--the poet evokes a sweet moment in a human relationship. A woman, without saying a word--and somewhat to the surprise her male friend--initiates sex with him. Very nicely done, and 5 stars.
