why do angels fly?

today
everything just reached total compromise

compromise freely felt...freely given...
with nothing hanging behind the mind

it is sublime...
like the relief cold water gives after a big thirst
like the satisfaction of a big hunger
like waking up from a deep peaceful sleep

burdens unloaded
inner desires revealed
difficult questions answered
uncomfortable situations dealt with

it is amazing
when we hold on too long
to things we perceived as vital in our lives
and so easily give it up for a loved one......

and when it happened,
it is equally amazing
how easy it is
to give back the love received...

it was like it has been there all the time
just waiting to be released.......

...and then there is the CALM...
total peace......

suddenly all the hurts and pains eased
....the turmoil deep within appeased
....the beast fed...satisfied...
and now just enjoying the release from the pangs gone through

someone once asked: why do angels fly?
and someone replied:

"The reason for why angels can fly
is because they take themselves soooo lightly."

so true

today i feel so light
all burdens unloaded
all doubts removed
so peaceful within
and finally
I feel so light
I feel like flying

flying without wings.............................
