Inhale that burning liquid
Exhale smoke
You're walking on land but you're drowning
Impoverished you laugh cause you're taught to

Giving your last dime
Paying into that
Old family name
A hospitality that society's deemed
Just fine
Legalized

Suicidal ambitions
The sands of time
They're pouring faster and faster
And you're about to run out

Pass on your family tradition
To the ones looking on
Engineered advertisements
No need to pay
Better than a door to door salesman
Parasitic parenthood
Infecting their own young
Out of this
No good can come

Now you're old and you're broken
But when you look back you'll notice
You were the one
Choosing to do this
You were the only one

Now it's hard to blame you
Society enabling
Their hands molded the clay
Of the ashtray that's your life
Distilling your spirit
Til there's nothing left

But there's light at the end of the tunnel
You can always turn this car around
Warn the others too, to
Stay out of the bad part of town
Don't look back
Be free

But don't do it for me
Do it for yourself
