In my dreams you live,
Smile and speak to me,
And touch me with your fingers
Which leave no prints,
Invisible they are to this tangible world,
Unseen they remain by the visionless
Who see not the ethereal
But only the mundane, unnecessary trivia.
But I. I see you before me, awake
As when in sleep.
I can smell your hair and breath
In the chill morning breeze
And see your smile in unknown flowers
Hear your voice in the rustling leaves
And there, before me, stand fools
