3 weeks later Cary informed me they had a house in Phoenix and her dad was sending her, her mom and sister out there and he was heading out soon once the house sale was final.
The day she was to leave I showed up and gave her a final hug in front of her parents and sister. Her sister came over and said "I thought you were gay?" I shook my head no and Cary assured her I was not gay. Her sister asked her how she knew and Cary said I'll tell you one of these nights when we're alone. I smiled and left.
