Cabin Fever! Snowed In With You...

[surprised and delighted] Awww, babe, you made me hot chocolate! You even added little marshmallows! It's just the way I like it! Thank you!

[pause]

Yeah, I know it's hot. Don't worry, I'll be careful. I'll sit it here on the table, so it can cool off a bit. Right now, it's time for you to cuddle with me on the sofa for a little while. [gently pulls her down next to him]

[contented sigh] It feels so good when I'm holding you close, like this, with your pretty little head resting against my chest. [breathes in deeply] Mmmm, your hair smells amazing. This is the first time you've sat down to rest. You've been buzzing around the house, like a busy little bee, haven't you? Cleaning, cooking, and...

[pause]

[chuckle] I guess I am needing some attention. After all, you've been neglecting me all day.

[pause]

[soothingly] I know baby, you've got a touch of cabin fever, and you've been trying to pass the time. Trust me, I'm feeling it too. Being snowed in isn't easy. It'll be nice when the snow melts, and we're finally able to venture back out into society. Not that I don't enjoy your company. [place a quiet kiss on top of her head] It hasn't been that awful, has it? We did have some fun playing in the snow yesterday.

[pause]

[feigning offense] My snowman did not have a lopsided face! There has never been a finer display of snowmanship in the history of making snowmen. He was literally a work of art. [pause]

[teasingly] We're just going to have to agree to disagree on this one, love, but I think we can both agree that it was extremely funny when you fell on your bottom during our snowball fight.

You looked adorable, all covered in snow. [laugh]

[pause]

[teasingly] What? It's because I pummeled you with snowballs after you fell? You're being a little dramatic, aren't you? I think pummeled is an awfully strong word.

[teasingly and lovingly] I'd say I showered you with snowy little love taps. Hey, did you just roll your eyes at me?
