She put on an affronted look, trying to dispute what he was saying, but he went on. "The problem for you always has been that as good as you lied you were always given away by your desires, they are still written across your face, like just now when you thought Daniel might get the job. What a waste those ten years were, except for Sean and what we built up together, but you aren't going to enjoy any of it. There was no way I was ever going to employ Daniel, you must have been deranged to think so, but maybe you thought it would help you keep your sex slave. After all he must be surrounded by young females at college and at any gathering of young people. Your days must be almost up, mustn't they?"

The best I can do is pass on his CV to Michaels old firm, see if they are looking for a trainee. You will have to find a job in Boston, if you are going to survive together but that shouldn't be a problem with your looks.

They didn't talk much after that, she looked defeated. So time passed before she said, "some of that isn't true, I am trying hard and I want to be a part of your group, surely there is some way I can be involved?"

He decided to talk with the others once he had resolved all of his other issues. For the time being she was helpful to have around with Sean, but he would have no qualms about dumping her. The only good quality she had for him was her ability as a designer. If he kept her involved that would have to be the key use she had but he wasn't going to have their reputation sullied anymore by her selfish needs.

His thinking changed to his immediate issues, starting with curtailing his sexual adventures , there could be nobody new in the future and he would have to find a way of sorting out the mess of relationships he had; the problem was that he adored them all.

Note on Nymphomania:

In this and other parts of the narrative I have tried to integrate and make sense of a human condition that online research suggests even doctors don't understand. Of course I have probably incurred the wrath of any professionals out there but this is just a story and I have used full licence to interpret what little is known about the subject to fit the story including throwing in a lot of 'red herrings'. What my research did suggest is that there is a massive public misunderstanding about Nymphomania and I would refer you to the information online for better clarification. My understanding is that it is recognised as a psychological illness, if those are the right words, for which as yet there are only limited treatments.

Main Characters

David: A successful Architect who wants to start a family, they start to play teasing games to spice up their life but it gets out of hand. Parents: James (Jim) and Ann

Olivia: David's wife and business partner, a successful designer working in tandem with her husband. Highly sexual woman who begins to find her inner desires taking control of her normal good sense. Inadvertently gathers 'lost' women around her that David calls her 'harem'.

Jane : David's first girlfriend who hurt him badly. The first to join the home after her husband proved to be a slimeball.

Ana: Olivia's former University roommate and sexual partner in their escapades when not studying. Finds herself becoming disenchanted with the city highlife and decides to look up her first love Olivia, almost destroying their marriage. Unfortunately, she brings Peter, a self-styled gigolo who preys on women and inevitably wrecks marriages.

Bree: Former Wife of a famous ex footballer, Chase. Ex-beauty queen type who is looking for a new life and fresh adventures after the disappointment of her husband becoming a worthless drunk. Came to a truth or dare party and never left.

Jo : A recluse who always received criticism by family and friends because she didn't achieve expectations. Pretty and vivacious underneath layers of shapeless clothes to hide herself, friends drag her along to Olivia's party and she never goes back to her dingy little room.

Michael : An Architect who studied with David through University. Moving to the area and possibly joining their firm but has problems with his wife, Sarah, who is having an affair with Wes Daniels.

Aleesha : A private investigator specialising in family matters. A tough cookie having gone through her own marriage break-up.

Monica: David, and Olivia's business supervisor and now a minor shareholder, totally reliable and a family friend, long term single mother but heading for a 'fling' with a handsome 'player' Mark, from the website company on the next floor up. Her office assistant is Dee.
