This is brilliant stuff. First of all, even though it took me a few pages in the previous story to appreciate the story being narrated by Dotty with her own particular dialect, that's really grown on me, and it works really well here.
You've done a good job filling out the world these characters live in so that it isn't just a cardboard backdrop for the story.
The characters seem genuine and relatable. Sort of worried about all the drinking that they're doing, but it's not out of place either.
Can't wait to see how the rest of this part turns out!
