Author's Note:

A Drow's Dilemma began as a one-on-one roleplaying project and has been converted into a chapter-by-chapter format for weekly posting with the permission and assistance from my partner. It will contain a considerable amount of sexual themes such as femdom, lesbian, straight, 'reverse' rape, BDSM, group sex, romance, and other themes. The main goal of the story, however, is to tell an epic tale of adventures, gods and goddesses, fae, and nymphomaniacs. This episode and every episode to come will be available for free on Literotica for the foreseeable future. All characters that engage in sexual or suggestive situations are mentally and sexually mature: the human equivalent of 18 for their race.

The Harem

Ellistraea and Caleldir spun together through the endless night under the goddess' playful moon. Ellistraea teased and played throughout her demonstration of Dark Elf dancing. The moon waned and others came to take and tease Caleldir, expertly getting him to cum inside them while the lute, harp, and flute played on. The moon waxed and the garden cleared of all save Caleldir and Ellistraea. They switched to the Light Elf style of dancing and chatted about their mutual acquaintances.

"Are you ready for us, my niece?" Aelsuna's gentle voice rang through the realm.

"I can only alter time so much," Ellistraea sighed regretfully. The full moon lit the beautiful scene of them together in a nylameian garden decorated in Dark Elf architecture. "Or I would dance like this forever. Ah, but we must wed and ascend you! I do look forward to that!"

"I will take us to my realm, then," Aelsuna announced. The sun rose dazzlingly bright on the dancing goddess and god-to-be. Then, instead of a moonlit garden, they were twirling in a fabulous palace hall. Ornate arches built in a circle formed the outer edge, but there were no walls between them. Scenes of a sunlit garden far below the building they were in flashed into Caleldir's view as his partner still merrily danced. Where there wasn't garden and forest, there were views of the rest of the fairytale castle they were in.

Opposite the sun, the moon hung full and happy in the sky.

"How much time has passed in the Material Plane?" Caleldir asked. "Lolth's invasion is dependent on time passing there, after all. Assuming a chaotic goddess is operating on maximum efficiency - which is probably not the case - using divine-tier portals, and the other gods of Niutitania are just watching and not interfering to protect their own it will take a week or two to ramp up to a full-scale invasion of Norahist. How long in Material Plane terms will this wedding take?"

"Don't you worry about time frame," Aelsuna answered as she gracefully switched with Ellistraea as Caleldir's dance partner. Though she wasn't the dancer that her niece was, she was dazzlingly beautiful beyond mortal comprehension. Unlike Ellistraea, She also wore actual clothing, and Caleldir activated his rune to match. "We know what We are doing. We know Our sister, too. Just enjoy yourself, darling."

The music concluded and a host of familiar faces turned towards Caleldir, having been dancing along with the music as well. Ashyr, Selene, Nirza, and Alycyrl were the only dark-skinned. The rest were all women who agreed to the ceremony.

"We must have a longer dance during the reception! Ellistraea?" Aelsuna stated joyfully.

"I figured the reception would be a different kind of dance," Ellistraea said with a naughty smile.

"Oh no! We must have a proper dance afterward! The ritual is important. Then we will go into our time slots we will agree upon while Caleldir is dancing with the mortals," Aelsuna insisted.

"Frankly, I would enjoy flirtatious dancing rather than more sex," Caleldir admitted. "Attunement, incubization, and whatnot aside, I need a break every now and again. I like wearing clothing sometimes."

"Oh, yes! Proper wedding attire is important! I'm sorry, Ellie, but some of us will be wearing clothes. Those who do not wish to cover their sexual parts may adorn themselves with whatever they deem appropriate - but they must adorn themselves! This is a wedding!" Aelsuna announced enthusiastically. "A wedding with Me being wed!" She practically squealed. Somehow She remained deifically dignified despite Her girlish fervor.

Caleldir could not stop himself from grinning. Aelsuna's glee was infectious. "You can wear jewelry, Ellistraea. That is what the Nobles of Norahist wear these days. Though... ah... I am not ready for this. I still can't process what has been happening recently: both good and bad. I mean... I am marrying two goddesses? My sister and my niece?"

"You are marrying five goddesses, three demigoddesses, and a number of other powerful entities," Ceuphaera said. The Sulfurous Solar looked... different. Though her expression and body language were still very serious and professional, she seemed much more at ease in her valkyrie armor, and her formerly frigid beauty had a much more sensual cast to it.

"I see Vilinixia got to you," Caleldir observed, deciding to let the 'five goddesses' detail slip by for now. "How do you feel?"

"It is nice to have a sex drive," Ceuphaera responded. "I can empathize better with you all. Vilinixia calling me a 'monster girl' is quite ridiculous, but I cannot deny the massive power boost her arts have given me. But, mostly, I am very happy that I will have a God to serve again. Magolben does not count, after all."

"I am not a god yet," Caleldir said with a sigh. "And I do not want to be. I wanted to be a librarian. Have a wife or... uh... four. Maybe."

"Well, I want you to be a god," Ceuphaera said with a slight smile. "I was not happy about your portfolio, but I think with time we can mitigate it. I am beginning to formulate some ideas, though it will probably take a couple of centuries to stabilize the situation." She bowed slightly to Aelsuna. "Your radiant brilliance, shall we introduce the groom to his many brides?"

"He already knows them all! What, we can't surprise him with who shows up when he's standing on the altar?" Ellistraea laughed.

"There is a process," Aelsuna sniffed. "This is an important ceremony. Not a guessing game."

Ceuphaera turned once more to Caleldir. "So! because your normal secretary, one Phivucai Moon, will be unable to leave the afterlife if she visits here - by virtue of dying on the spot - I am temporarily usurping her position. In conjunction with your sisters Aelsuna and Freyja, I have organized the various women who will be marrying you today.

"Three brides related to your divine nature: Your Mount Varyndaevyrress, your High Priestess Coppereyes, and your chief evangelist Sister Marigold."

"Marigold will be pleased," Caleldir said dryly.

"Yes," Ceuphaera agreed. "The next category is the Deusterrans. Your apprentice, Faraia who was once Caleldra the Forgotten Adventuress, your teacher Archmage Fedwyn Birchborn, her mother Naliira the Nascent World Tree, your creation Risa the Roving Intelligent Security Administrator, and standing in for her ancestor Nirza: Abanonda Blackdawn. Nirza will be appearing with the Queens instead. She insisted that as a Dark Nymph reincarnation of a Dark Elf who died of extreme old age she is not the Nirza of the past anymore."

"Faraia really doesn't want to accept that," Caleldir observed. "Though of the two of them, Faraia is less like I remember her, ironically enough."

"After them," Ceuphaera continued. "You have your three familiars: Queen Dahlia, Princess Aster, and Empress of Souls Vilinixia Violetcrown."

"I already married the first two," Caleldir objected.

"They had a succubus marriage. It will be more impactful on a divine level if they are married by the goddess of love and marriage," Aelsuna explained as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Moving on before Lilith comments," Ceuphaera said quickly. "We have seven Queens: Althaia Duskhaven of the Nymphs, Nirza Blackdawn of the Dark Nymphs, Ravayra [lastname] of the Elves, Alycyrl Duskhaven of the Dark Elves, Mirjana of the Rusalka, and a new Valkyrie that Frejya has chosen for you. Dahlia is the Queen of the Succubi, of course, but she will be with the familiars."

"I expect her to show up twice anyway," Caleldir said with amusement in his voice. "Since succubi do not consider the appellation an insult: I will go ahead and say that she is a bit of an attention whore."

"No, Lilith and Her daughters revel in that term," Ceuphaera agreed. "A step up from royalty is divinity, of course, and we have five goddesses who will marry you: your niece, Ellistraea the Goddess of Dark Elves, the Moon, and Dance, your sister Freyja the Goddess of War, Valkyries, Fortresses, and Strategy, and 'most importantly' your eldest sister Aelsuna the Goddess of the Sun, Love, Marriage, Beauty, Sex, and Nymphs, as well as her two handmaids Felesh the Goddess of Cats, Catfolk, and Hedonism, and Merethllyr the Goddess of Bards, Circuses, and Festivals."

Caleldir gulped. "That is a lot of goddesses. I... one goddess is far too much to handle."

"You are the God of Harems. Having multiple goddesses in your harem is a divine necessity." Ceuphaera looked amused at this for a moment but quickly resumed her serious demeanor. "Finally, you will spend the night with Selene and Ashyr. In acknowledgment of your bond, the Goddess of Love wishes to give you time with the two women dearest to your heart before the great attunement begins."

"That's uh..." Caleldir blushed and looked towards Aelsuna. "I... I did not expect that of you. If anything I would expect you to be jealous of affections for others deeper than those for you."

"Your love for them shows me the depth of love that you are capable of," Aelsuna said with a fond smile. "I know what to look forward to. And, unlike them, we get to experience our Love blossoming after we bind our souls together for eternity!"

"As expected of the Goddess of Love," Ceuphaera declared before Aelsuna could get carried away. "Those twenty-four women will be the nucleus of your Divine Harem. Eventually, you will have one hundred and eight brides, a most auspicious number."

"You seem a lot more talkative now," Caleldir observed. "I am glad that you are happier. I feel quite unworthy of your service, and will do my best to deserve it someday."

The no-longer-fallen Solar shrugged. "Humility is an unusual attitude for a god, but it is an endearing one. And speaking of your impending godhood the first category of brides I will reintroduce you to are those directly related to your divinity. Varynae? Marigold? Coppereyes?"

The disgruntled dragon, the delighted dragon, and the beaming, blushing succubus nun appeared.

"I am honored beyond words to be married along with my goddess," Coppereyes said, the priestess overawed by being in her goddess's domain.

"I don't want to get married!" Varynae fussed.

"Yes you do," Ceuphaera scolded her. "Have some dignity, dragon! Where is your vaunted perfection now?"

Varynae's response was to pout.

"If she does not want to go through with this, she does not have to," Caleldir said. "I still don't like her either."

"Yeah, I sold you to slavers, gave Ashyr to her brothers, attacked your allies, almost destroyed-"

"And this is your punishment!" Marigold said, with fire in her blue eyes. "All those who go against my most magnificent and glorious God shall be defeated, and the hot ones will join His Divine Harem! Soon Aralolth Herself will be nothing but a plaything for His excellent majesty!"

"I really don't want to have sex with Aralolth," Caleldir said with bemused horror. "She is one of the most loathsome women in the universe."

"She's hot though," Lilith said, poking Her head out from a shadow. "That bitch is as sexy as She is evil."

"Mother, one of the brides?" Ellistraea said with a look of distaste. "I wouldn't think..." she thought about it for a moment. Then a small smirk twitched upward in one corner of her mouth. "No, I can work with that. Might be fun."

"Uh-oh," Caleldir said, still horrified and amused in equal parts.

"Putting all that aside," Ceuphaera said while shaking her head with a slight smile. "Coppereyes will be your High Priestess."

"I will perform my role with utmost cheer!" Coppereyes gleefully declared. "It is an honor beyond words to help guide a new god, the most beautiful Aelsuna's brother, into his own!"

Caleldir smiled bashfully, and Ceuphaera continued. "Marigold is going to be your Chief Evangelist." The succubus nun glowed with delight. "Varyndaevyrress is your mount, of course, and I will be your Herald and Captain of your guard. My loyal Planetars have also been enhanced by Vilinixia's arts and will constitute the beginning of your divine hosts."

"You will have sex with them too!" Marigold said enthusiastically.

"I don't need to have sex with everyone," Caleldir sighed.

"Yes, you do!" Marigold said forcefully. "Every woman in the universe should be yours!"

"That is just impractical Marigold," Aelsuna sighed. "There is no possible way that Caleldir can keep every woman in the universe happy. There would be no time for a proper relationship with everyone. No, I want to have personal time with my future husband just as every other woman in existence. With one hundred and eight (and maybe a few concubines) there should be ample time with all of us."

"I agree with the Goddess of Love. Reign in your enthusiasm, Marigold." Ceuphaera shook her head in bemusement. "As for me and my faithful Planetars: we will not be having sex with you anytime soon. I will not be marrying you today, and will not have sex with you until after our marriage."

Caleldir looked surprised. "Oh? What... what is the reason?"

"I will be the last bride: the 108th," Ceuphaera stated. "I will seal the Harem forever."

Varynae, suddenly interested, leaned in. "But... but you went through the same transformation I did! Don't you have an irresistibly potent libido now? I may not want to marry Caleldir or be his mount, but I very much want to bang him. Constantly."

"Yes," Ceuphaera replied. "I now have a very potent libido, and strongly desire sex. That sex will be my reward once I have completed my mission to stabilize Caleldir's divine essence. If I indulge before my mission is complete: it will cloud my resolve and Astellodia's curse will doom my efforts. I must remain a servant, not a wife, until the proper time."

Caleldir looked at Ceuphaera with admiration. "I... I do not deserve a servant like you."

"I am a Solar. And a paragon of my kind. We are Law and Goodness given physical form," Ceuphaera stated. "I do nothing but stay true to my nature. Trouble not your mind with whether you 'deserve' me. You have me, and I will serve you. All I ask is that you fulfill your role to the best of your ability." The formerly fallen Solar turned to the other two. "Priestess, evangelist, mount, we will meet you again once you are dressed in wedding garments or jewelry, in the case of Varyndaevyrress. Aelsuna's cupids will take care of all that."

The Solar dismissed them and led Caleldir to a balcony where Naliira, Fedwyn, Faraia, Risa, and a sheepish-looking Abanonda were looking over the gardens of Aelsuna's realm. Fedwyn jumped to her feet. "Well! Our wedding day has finally arrived. I never thought I would share my wedding day with my mother, but life is strange sometimes, eh?"

Naliira smiled fondly at her daughter, then at Caleldir. Her reply was soft and a little bittersweet, "It is a privilege to share a husband with family."

"I wish that there were a lot less of us!" Faraia complained. "I wanted to share you with darling Nirza, of course, but not half the universe. You barely have time for us!"

"Sorry about that," Caleldir said sheepishly. "I am suffering the consequences of earlier indecision. Now my decisions are made for me."

"I have plans to limit the insanity," Ceuphaera interjected. "Master Caleldir, you already know these five: dear friends from your first life before the curse, and a descendant of another friend."

"I should hope he knows us!" Fedwyn laughed. "I always figured you were bound for divinity one day, but your portfolio is... uh... well, I can wait a few centuries for your Solar to reign things in. One hundred and eight is a lot of wives, but at this point, it seems downright restrained."

"I would have preferred seven. Or three," Faraia fussed.

"I am happy to be wed to you today," Risa added softly.

Caleldir gave Risa a hug. "I am too, though I am very overwhelmed. I had hoped my proper wedding would be a romantic occasion, not simply a matter of divine attunement, but with an invasion inbound..."

"Yeah, royal and divine marriages are political affairs," Fedwyn said easily. Her face hardened, and her tone became serious. "We can schedule the honeymoon once the current crisis is over."

"I am making this as romantic as I can!" Aelsuna objected. "This should be the most romantic political marriage that has ever occurred! I mean, the venue alone is the best it could possibly be! And the brides will be the most beautiful in the known universe!"

"Indeed," Ceuphaera agreed. "If the Goddess of Romance says so, it has to be true. Who could be better qualified to judge than Her? We will see you four later."

"Nirza is with the other Queens!" Faraia added, finally smiling properly. "And darling Ravayra. Please greet them for me."

"I will," Caleldir replied with a nod. He turned to Abanonda, who had been silent the whole time. As an Ellistraean, she was completely naked, but she seemed very self-conscious about it. "Abanonda," he began gently. "You seem... ill at ease."

"I feel very outclassed by everyone here," Abanonda said quietly. "Nymph queens, legendary ancestors, ancient archmages, my own Goddess... I'm just a woman who punches things. I have no idea why I was considered worthy of joining this crew."

Caleldir quickly went over to her and put his arms around the tall dark elf. "I feel the exact same way," he confessed. "So... so if you will have me, we can find worthiness together."

Abanonda smiled and melted into his arms.

"Very heartwarming!" Fedwyn laughed. "Now, give all the rest of us hugs!"

"And sex," Faraia said, blushing.

"The orgy can wait for tomorrow," Ceuphaera interjected. "We have a lot of introductions to get through."

"You need to go say hello to your familiars next!" Lilith said, poking her head out of another shadow. "And bind Vilinixia to you properly before the ceremony. It has been so long since your dick has been inside a succubus."

Caleldir stopped in his tracks. "Wait... when I have sex with a dark elf, Ellistraea can choose to feel it." He looked at Aelsuna. "When I'm with a Nymph, You can feel it. So, when I am with a succubus..."

"Bang Aster. She misses you!" Lilith giggled. "Dahlia too."

"And that is the only way you should know how it feels to be with Caleldir! Your Lust is going to be your undoing! And I don't remember inviting you here!" Aelsuna complained.

"You know you love me!" Lilith stuck out her tongue. "What's love and sex without some delightful lust? And all of that Bad Lust you scold me about is fun! I know you like forbidden romance as much as anyone!"

"Get out of here, Goddess of Whores. You are already married. Go bang your husband if you're so horny. You are not invited," Aelsuna snapped at her sister.

"Fine. But you can't keep me out very long! Our portfolios bind us together. As Ellistraea reflects your light, I am its shadow. I am an inevitable part of your very nature, esteemed eldest sister!" With that, Lilith disappeared again.

"Family, eh?" Fedwyn chuckled.

"I have observed that God's have very interesting familial strife," Ceuphaera replied. "Lady Lilith is correct: our next stop will be to greet your familiars, and bind Vilinixia to you. She still has not had proper sex since Lady Lilith healed her of her touch aversion. She will likely attach herself to your manhood like the other two."
