"You make me happy, James. For the first time in my life, I'm truly and completely happy."
He smiled joyfully and tenderly kissed her.
Elaine moved to lie beside him, and he looked to see if she needed her space or wanted to cuddle. He settled in next to her, and she sighed in contentment, bringing a smile to his lips.
She knew there were some small logistical changes she'd have to make to allow him into her home, but nothing seemed insurmountable. They'd make their plans in the morning.
Tonight, Elaine was grateful she'd found the remedy for her eternal discontent. It was finally gone.
Another thought surfaced, and she smiled over at James and saw his eyes were on her.
"Happy Twenty-Fifth!"
James laughed in surprise and the joyful sound filled her with the contentment she craved.
Elaine's joy surged as she realized she was no longer destined to be alone.

rbloch66about 24 hours agoThis story touches me deeper than most. You have created two amazing characters that possess absolutely no pretense… that is extremely refreshing. While they exhibit a definite D/s style of interaction, it is more than clear to me that she is treating him as an equal. Some people thrive in an environment where they can serve. It can be very gratifying when appreciation is shown. James will clearly thrive in her company and she will be fierce in standing up for him. It was good to see him stand up to his mother. While not submissive behaviour, it nicely illustrated the reverence and respect he held for his boss. Very well written!!!!

spectrescreen2 months agoOne for my list of the unique, I never read stories with female dom, well because they are always cruel and humiliating. Nice to read a story where a female dom who is protective of her sub and respective also.
Nothing against other story writers but, Dominant means that 'dominant' not cruel or humiliating, just dominant like this story character.
