Click here"That's more than I expected," She said. "Our pastor suggested that I find a new church going forward because many will not let go of what happened, so I have started looking. As far as our children are concerned whenever we have agreed to something I shall have them clear it with you to make sure it isn't conflicting with any of your plans."
As she got up and walked away, I had to fight myself from saying stop lets try again even though I knew I no longer loved her. It took me a few minutes to understand that it would take time to disassociate myself from the familiar. Thankfully the relationship that Tammy and I were building would allow us to overcome our shared pasts.
Margaret would never know that the greatest gift she had ever given me had come in the last few moments. She in her words had given me the freedom to move forward.
The end.
Note: The story of Trish and Scott can be found in romance as a five part story "The Renaissance Man".
The story of Dale Britton and the Judge Donald McDonald is also in romance called "She's my kind of Rain".
Wow does ruttweler shit EVERYWHERE on every LW story shilling for cheaters? Methinks someone doth protest too much.
I'm giving it 5 stars because unlike a lot of LW stories, the kids this author painted actually had a working brain and heart and sided with the victim instead of their criminal "mother". However, I'm slightly unhappy that the judge didn't give him child support from the bitch.
3 stars and only because he divorced the skanky, SLUT.
The rest of the story was pretty much devoid of any emotions. In other words, cardboard characters and unrealistic dialog. Although, I did like how the MC managed to dump the chief of police and his ex-wife in a pile of crap and they had no way of getting out.
@ruttweiler The job of a Pastor is to care for his flock not destroy his relationship with everyone else for the sake of an unrepentant Slut. But good try denigrating Christianity all for the sake of a story.
She’s leaving her church because the PASTOR said “many will not let go” of their scorn and disfavor??? And this is a CHRISTIAN church??? You’d think the pastor would try to lead his flock in a more spiritually compassionate direction.
Boy, has this congregation fallen far from the teachings of Christ. He never said, “slap the other cheek!”
If you were attempting to mock present-day Christianity, it was subtle, but effective.
