Jay peeks his head in the door. "How would you like to go to Denver with me? Matt's graduating college and I thought we could surprise him."
I glance at the schedule again. It's busy, but Matt was pretty fucking chill when he found out about the accident. He sent meals and kept Jay in line. With everything going on between them and Seamus's in-laws, it's impressive he made it to graduation.
Back home he's been a rockstar; helping discover the missing money and working part time for Seamus on top of his college course load. The least he deserves is moral support.
"Hell yeah," I tell Jay. "When do we leave?"

Anonymousover 1 year agoAh, glad that the situation with the patient not wanting to be pampered too much does not escalate. Seems like we're hitting that unknown territory soon due to the time jump on Boss Nanny's series straight to epilogue, right? Can't wait to see small appearances from Matt and Seamus as well as a small snippet on that gap of time.
Anonymousalmost 2 years agoYeah I commented about Lauren being pissed that Jay returned early not understanding how seriously Lauren was hurt. There’s a lot more description of the injury in this chapter so Jay handled himself pretty well, actually both of them did really well.
