TimothyMover 11 years agoNonsense anon - the role reversal was the perfect and logical ending. Nate was complaining that Corey didn't put any effort into the relationship before. And the typical cliche is that the top does most of the work and is responsible for making the sex great. If Nate had topped Corey, it would have meant that their relationship would risk falling into the same old pattern that made them split up.

Anonymousover 11 years agoI was totally into this story in the beginning, I actually thought it was one of the best I had ever read here, but in the back of my mind I was thinking that it was too good, that you were gonna screw it up. And you did. The role reversal just killed it. I read the part where the bottom guy said "Turn over." and I was like *nononononono!!!* I stopped reading there. Ugh. What a disappointment.

FlamesEmbraceover 11 years agoExcellent. Like, I hardly ever see a story on here that I really love and connect to, but this was just one of those rare ones that particularly shone to me. I saw so much of myself and my own relationships in the beginning and it broke my heart a little- I wanted it to end happily, but I didn't think the realism could hold out if it did. I love how you worked the ending- nothing is really magically fixed, and there's still that realistic uncertainty of whether anything will really work out or whether this will be the exact same cycle that hurt our main character before, but the characters and the humor held out to the last line and it was a pretty little love story all the same. So yeah, beautifully done.
