Cpdtpabout 1 month agoThe family gathering parts were really well written, those parts felt alive, something you rarely see on most stories, focused on laying the facts, rather than building atmosphere.

DukeofPaducah4 months agoI was thoroughly entertained by this tale. The interaction between John and his daughter, his family and friends and even his
ex-wife and her children showed a depth of connection and love. The description of the barbecue captured this vividly.
The molestation of Cecil by Andy when he applied the ‘Father Nelson’ cracked me up. Thank you for this.
Anonymous5 months agoLove this story. Crazy, but well told snd “interesting,” not the usual LW tropefest. Love how much John is a real adult, achieving the best revenge by moving forward, being happy, modeling adult behavior for all the children and adults, and ending up in the end with a young hottie because even her young teenager eyes can see who the best man in the neighborhood is. Great stuff. More please.
AllNigher5 months agoI somehow enjoy your stories and can't figure out why. The critic in me says that there's emotion lacking, it jumps around, hard to follow, character introduction isn't great, the speech is tough to follow....
But damnit I keep reading and enjoying them... Bizarre 😀
