Sky chuckled, appreciating Crissy's enthusiasm. "Well, I happen to like both, you know."

Grinning mischievously, Crissy disappeared into her own room and returned with a long, slim-fitting green dress that exuded understated beauty. "This would probably fit you perfectly."

Sky's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Um, that's a bit much, don't you think?"

"Nope, you've got to dress to impress," Crissy insisted playfully. "Go put it on. I'll be the judge."

Sky hesitated for a moment, considering Crissy's suggestion. "Alright, why not?" She made her way back upstairs to her room, slipping into the dress with a mixture of curiosity and anticipation. As she looked at her reflection in the mirror, she couldn't help but feel a sense of transformation. The dress accentuated her figure in all the right places, making her feel confident and beautiful.

Careful not to trip on the long hem, Sky descended the stairs, her heart pounding with a mix of nervousness and excitement. Crissy's eyes widened in awe as she beheld Sky's transformed appearance, a surge of electrifying attraction coursing through her veins.

"You like it?" Sky asked, her voice slightly shaky as she crossed her arms, trying to hide her own blushing face.

"I love it," Crissy whispered, momentarily frozen by the intensity of her emotions. This sudden surge of desire awakened a neglected part of her being, leaving her yearning for more.

The air crackled with a newfound tension, both of them aware of the unspoken connection that had ignited between them. Crissy's mind raced with conflicting thoughts and desires, her internal struggle temporarily overshadowing the karaoke event Sky was about to attend.

"Um, so when is it?" Crissy finally managed to say, her voice trembling slightly as she tried to claw her way out of her fantasizing sinful mind.

"In about an hour, but I'm going to head out now, just in case traffic is bad," Sky replied, sensing the shift in Crissy's demeanor. She gathered her purse and keys, ready to step into the unknown.

As Sky walked out the door, the cool evening breeze brushed against her skin, offering a refreshing contrast to the warmth that had enveloped her in the house. She took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing heart and the whirlwind of emotions swirling within her.

Meanwhile, Crissy remained standing in the living room, her mind filled with a mix of confusion and longing. She watched as Sky's figure disappeared down the street, a part of her yearning to chase after her, to explore the depth of their connection further. But she hesitated, unsure of the path that lay ahead and the consequences it might bring.

Lost in her thoughts, Crissy slowly made her way to the window, peering outside as if hoping to catch another glimpse of Sky. She couldn't deny the powerful attraction that had sparked between them, but she also knew the complexities and uncertainties that lay within their friendship.

With a sigh, Crissy turned away from the window, her eyes falling upon the empty space where Sky's presence had filled just moments ago.

-------------------------------------------------------

Sky arrived at the theater and park in front of the tall impressive building. Stepping into the building, she was greeted by a small room with signs pointing in various directions, indicating areas such as the bathroom, backstage, and auditorium. One sign specifically pointed to the "Freshman Karaoke Night" in the auditorium.

Entering the auditorium, Sky observed several groups of four to five people scattered throughout the room, totaling around 80 attendees. There were also a few individuals or pairs occupying seats. The auditorium itself was a grand space, filled with rows upon rows of chairs all facing the stage. A large red curtain concealed the backstage area, and a DJ stood off to one side, ready to provide musical accompaniment for the night.

Walking down the aisle, Sky couldn't help but feel slightly overdressed, but she secretly reveled in the double takes she received from both guys and girls. Though no one approached her, she appreciated the attention. However, her reverie was interrupted when she felt a tap on her shoulder.

Turning around, Sky was met with the sight of a stunning Asian girl with beautiful shoulder-length hair. There was a sense of familiarity about her that made Sky gasp involuntarily.

"Hi, I'm..." the girl began to introduce herself.

"Oh my god, you look like London Tipton from 'The Suite Life of Zack and Cody'!" Sky exclaimed, unable to contain her amusement at the coincidence.

The girl blushed and looked away shyly. She wore a red jacket over a white T-shirt and jeans, subtly accentuating her slim and curvy figure. "Um, yeah, I get that a lot," she responded. "But no, my name is Alexis O'Hear. I'm a freshman too, and I just thought I'd talk to you since you seemed alone like me."

"You look really pretty in that dress. I wish I had worn something like that. I wasn't sure if it was normal to dress fancy or not for these events. Sorry, what's your name?" Alexis rambled nervously, her words tumbling out.

"Haha, you're really outgoing, huh? My name is Sky Browning," Sky replied, extending her hand to her new friend.

"Nice to meet you," they both said in unison, sharing a lighthearted laugh at the serendipitous moment.

As the evening progressed, Sky and Alexis found themselves eating pizza and mingling with new people. They had agreed to be each other's buddies for the night. As the magic of beer and the confidence of theater students began to take effect, people took to the stage to sing. However, unlike typical karaoke, there was no lyrics screen to follow along with. Participants had to rely on their memory for the songs they chose. Sky decided to forgo singing that night and instead enjoyed watching the performances unfold.

One guy caught their attention as he went up on stage and sang "Nevermore" from Beauty and the Beast. He had a commanding presence, with tall blond hair and striking features that hinted at a promising future in Hollywood. "What did you think of him? I wouldn't mind going down on his pipe?" Alexis swooned, her eyes filled with admiration.

"Nah, he's okay," Sky chuckled hoping that comment was just a joke, "I'm not particularly interested in guys who seemed to have it all", The focus of her evening was on forging new connections and enjoying the company of her newfound friend, Alexis.

"You're not into him? Don't you think he looks super handsome?"

"Sure, just he's not my type."

"Oh, okay. Wait! Sorry, I never asked. Are you a lesbian then?" Alexis asked, her words coming out in a rush, her voice filled with curiosity and excitement.

Sky felt a mixture of surprise and relief as Alexis casually asked about her sexual orientation. It was a question she wasn't used to being asked so directly, especially in her previous environment back in Utah. However, there was something refreshing about the non-judgmental tone in Alexis' voice, allowing Sky to feel a newfound sense of freedom.

"I'm sort of bi, but I'm mostly into girls," Sky responded, her words carrying a mix of vulnerability and self-acceptance. She appreciated the open atmosphere of this place, where she could be honest about her identity without fear.

"Oh, cool! Me too. But I'm boy and girl crazy, you know," Alexis replied with a playful tone. "You're really pretty too, just so you know. I'd prefer you to that guy honestly."

Blushing deeply, Sky looked at Alexis, trying to maintain a nonchalant expression. She pondered the initial shyness she had seen in Alexis earlier, realizing that it might have been due to her own shyness as well.

Choosing not to overanalyze Alexis' words  Sky simply said, "Thank you."

They shared a look of friendship and just a hint of curiosity for each other. Then Alexis just smiked real big, earning a confused look from Sky.

Suddenly, before Sky could fully comprehend what was happening, Alexis grabbed her hand and pulled her down the aisle toward the stage. Sky attempted to protest or at least process the sudden turn of events, but Alexis seemed determined.

Next thing she knew, Sky found herself standing on the stage next to the DJ, a scrawny kid with glasses who seemed to be trying a bit too hard to fit the role.

"Do you want music?" the DJ asked impatiently, looking at Sky with a slightly interrogating gaze.

"What?" Sky stammered, caught off guard by the abrupt question.

"Are you going to sing acapella, or do you want music?" he repeated, his impatience becoming more apparent.

"I'll go with music, I guess," Sky replied, her mind racing to make a decision.

After a brief exchange with the DJ to check what songs he had available, Sky finally settled on one she knew well and confidently chose one.

"Impressive choice. Let's hear it," the DJ said, pointing toward the stage.

Sky took a deep breath and walked to the center of the stage. The bright lights beamed down on her, momentarily obscuring her view of the audience. With a mix of excitement and nervousness, she prepared to give her performance, determined to captivate the crowd with her voice.

With the spotlight shining down on her, Sky took a moment to compose herself. The familiar introduction of the song "Never Enough" from The Greatest Showman began to play, filling the auditorium with its haunting melody. As the first notes escaped her lips, a hush fell over the crowd, their attention solely focused on the mesmerizing voice that resonated through the room.

"I'm trying to hold my breath," Sky sang, her voice filled with a mix of longing and determination. "Let it stay this way, can't let this moment end." The lyrics echoed her own internal struggle, a battle to hold on to the fleeting moments of happiness that she had found with Emma.

As she continued to sing, her voice grew stronger, carrying the weight of her unrequited love. "You set off a dream in me, getting louder now, can you hear it echoing?" Each word she sang carried the pain of loving someone who couldn't love her back, the ache of unfulfilled desires and shattered hopes.

"Never enough!, never, never, never," Sky's voice quivered, her heartache bleeding into the lyrics. As she sang those words, she couldn't help but think of Emma, the one who had captured her heart and left it in pieces. The taste of Emma's lips and the feel of her skin lingered in her memories, a bittersweet reminder of a love that was never meant to be.

With each verse, Sky's voice became a vessel for her emotions. The audience watched in awe as she poured her heart out, her voice trembling with vulnerability and rawness. The lyrics became a conduit for her pain, a way to release the pent-up emotions that had consumed her for so long.

As the final notes of the song reverberated through the auditorium, a stunned silence hung in the air for a brief moment. Then, as if awakening from a collective trance, the audience erupted into thunderous applause. Cheers, whistles, and hollers filled the space, a testament to the impact Sky's performance had on everyone present.

Overwhelmed by the response, Sky stood there for a moment, tears streaming down her face. She had bared her soul through her song, and the catharsis was both painful and liberating. The applause served as a validation of her feelings, a recognition that her story, her pain, mattered.

"For me," Sky whispered into the microphone, her voice carrying the weight of her journey. A single tear feel from her cheek.

As the applause continued to echo through the room, a symphony of appreciation for Sky's incredible talent, she couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope. Maybe, just maybe, this performance was her way of saying goodbye to the past, to the unrequited love that had held her back. It was her way of embracing a new chapter in her life, of finding the courage to move forward and open herself up to new possibilities.

With a grateful smile on her face, Sky bowed in appreciation, looking for Alexis in the crowd but not finding her.

The applause continued to echo through the room, a symphony of appreciation for Sky's incredible talent. People approached her, congratulating her on her remarkable performance, praising her voice, and expressing their awe at the way she had moved them with her singing.

"Wow Sky!" Alexis exclaimed. Hugging her from behind. "You're amazing. Gosh. I was gonna go next but wow."

Sky's heart swelled with pride as Alexis praised her performance. She couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment and joy in knowing that her voice had resonated with the crowd. Blushing, she handed the microphone over to Alexis, encouraging her to take the stage.

"No, it's okay. You go ahead," Sky said, her voice filled with sincerity. "And thank you. I'm sure you sound even better than my underused voice."

Sky couldn't help but hide her wide smile, trying to maintain a humble demeanor amidst all the attention she was receiving. She watched as Alexis confidently approached the stage, engaging in a conversation with the DJ, presumably selecting her song.

With a determined glint in her eyes, Alexis turned towards Sky and said, "Sure. 'Underused'? Fine, just you wait. You better be watching."

Sky nodded eagerly, anticipation building within her. She found a seat in the audience, her eyes fixed on Alexis as she prepared to deliver her own musical performance. Excitement filled the air as the audience quieted down, eagerly waiting to hear Alexis' voice fill the auditorium.

The music began to play, filling the auditorium with infectious beats and electrifying energy. As the first few notes of Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" resonated through the speakers, Alexis took her place at the center of the stage, a mischievous smile playing on her lips.

With every move, Alexis exuded confidence and charisma. She swayed her hips to the rhythm, gracefully twirling and swaying her body in perfect sync with the music. As the lyrics flowed effortlessly from her lips, her voice captivated the audience, drawing them deeper into the performance.

"I kissed a girl and I liked it," Alexis sang, her voice dripping with seduction. She locked eyes with Sky, sending a playful wink and blowing a kiss from afar, teasingly enticing her with every word.

The audience was enthralled, cheering and clapping along, unable to tear their eyes away from the captivating performance unfolding before them. Alexis commanded the stage, channeling the sensual energy of the song as she worked the crowd with her enchanting presence.

As the song reached its climax, Alexis delivered a powerful vocal flourish, hitting every note with precision and fervor. The final note hung in the air, leaving the audience in a momentary silence before erupting into thunderous applause.

Alexis beamed with pride, taking a bow and blowing a final kiss towards Sky before gracefully exiting the stage. The room buzzed with excitement and admiration for her electrifying performance. Sky couldn't help but join in the applause, her heart filled with admiration for her talented new friend.

"Alexis, that was incredible!" Sky gushed, her voice filled with genuine admiration. "You completely owned the stage. I'm in awe of your talent."

Alexis flashed a playful smile and reached out to give Sky a hug. But instead of a simple embrace, she let her fingers linger on Sky's arm, trailing delicate touches up and down. Sky felt a shiver run down her spine as their skin made contact, and she couldn't help but be drawn to the magnetic pull between them.

"There's more where that came from," Alexis whispered into Sky's ear, her voice laced with seduction. The words sent a jolt of electricity through Sky's body, leaving her breathless and craving for more.

The night continued with more performances, each student bringing their unique style and talent to the stage. Sky marveled at the diverse range of voices and personalities, feeling a sense of belonging among this vibrant community of performers. But also feeling some underlying attraction towards Alexis.

As the event drew to a close, Sky and Alexis reunited, their faces flushed with exhilaration. They embraced, sharing in the joy and satisfaction of a memorable evening.

"You were incredible!" Sky exclaimed, her voice filled with genuine admiration. "As Alexis exits the stage after performing another song this time by Miley Cyrus. "You really know how to work the stage."

Alexis blushed, her eyes sparkling with delight.

"Thanks, Sky. I'm glad you enjoyed it. We would make a great team, don't you think?"

Sky nodded enthusiastically.

"Come on." Alexis said grabbing Sky's hand and pulling her out of the auditorium.

"Where are we going?"

Sky's curiosity piqued as she allowed herself to be led by Alexis through the corridors of the theater. They passed rows of empty dressing rooms and rehearsal spaces until they arrived at a weathered door labeled "Storage Room."

Alexis flashed a mischievous smile and produced an old key from her pocket. She inserted it into the lock, turning it with a satisfying click. With a gentle push, the door swung open, revealing a dimly lit room filled with dusty props and forgotten stage decorations.

"Ta-da! Our secret hideout," Alexis announced, gesturing for Sky to enter.

Sky's eyes widened with wonder as she stepped inside. The room exuded a nostalgic charm, the air thick with the scent of aged wood and memories. It felt like a portal to a different era, a sanctuary away from the bustling theater scene.

Alexis closed the door behind them, enveloping the room in an intimate atmosphere. Soft, filtered light seeped through a small, cracked window, casting gentle shadows on the walls. It was a quiet refuge amidst the excitement of the karaoke night.

"Isn't this place amazing?" Alexis whispered, her voice filled with a mix of excitement and reverence. "I stumbled upon it during one of my explorations here. It's our little secret, Sky."

"So why did you bring me here." Sky says shyly.

"Please. You know."  Alexis says with eyes tinted with lust.

The air crackled with an electrifying tension as Alexis closed the distance between them, her eyes fixed on Sky's lips. Sky's heart raced, a mix of anticipation and uncertainty swirling within her.

Without a word, Alexis reached out and gently cupped Sky's face, her touch sending a shiver down Sky's spine. Slowly, their lips met in a soft, tender kiss, a moment of connection and exploration.

Time seemed to stand still as they melted into each other's embrace. Their kiss deepened, fueled by the unspoken desires that had been building between them all night. Sky's hands instinctively found their way to Alexis's waist, pulling her closer, while Alexis's fingertips traced a delicate path along Sky's neck, igniting a trail of sensations.

As they kissed they began to walk backwards toward the wall but In a sudden collision, their feet became entwined with a bench, causing them to stumble and fall, laughter bubbling forth from their lips. The once graceful and seductive moment transformed into a joyful and lighthearted scene as they landed in a tangled heap on the floor.

Giggling uncontrollably, Sky managed to say between breaths, "Well, that was graceful."

Alexis joined in the laughter, her eyes sparkling with mirth.

"We should definitely work on our kissing and walking skills."

Still caught up in their shared amusement, Sky looked down at Alexis hand on over her shirt resting on her breasts. The sudden pressure sending Shockwaves down her body.

Alexis noticing the gaze didn't take her hand off but only increased the pressure as she leaned over Sky and kissed her neck, then her ear. Biting down on her earlobe. Bringing back the euphoric atmosphere in an Instant.

The tender bite on her earlobe made Sky's heart race with a mix of excitement and vulnerability.
