The man that loved her, needed her, and stayed with her. Incest or not, this is a wonderful story. She was considering drastic measures that rarely work and sometimes backfire badly (look at Kenny Rogers plastic surgery) and he shows her how very much it just doesn't matter and isn't necessary.
