There were several sizable buildings, which were also equipped with additional defenses like what was on the towers. Another defensive structure that he knew was trouble were the missile turrets, loaded with both large and small ordnance.

The base itself was also quite large, taking up at least a couple of city blocks in area. What worried Vincent the most were the platoons of soldiers, who were sortieing out of the base, starting up patrols. The Rondathan parrot knew he had to be scarce and flew off before anyone could spot him. He flew hard, even though he was tired, as he knew he had to get to a safe distance, before calling in to warn Dagan Min about what he saw.
