Recolonization Ch. 05

Authors note: In this chapter, we learn more about the nanobots and Celina gets her injection to get bigger boobs. How big will she go? Guess we will have to find out. Chapter 5: The Trio's First Day on Fortuna

Jason woke up to a loud sound. He quickly rubbed his eyes to find the source of the disturbance. He looked over to his side to find the source of the sound: Venus' moans. Venus was desperately clawing at her breasts which had nearly doubled in size overnight, overflowing her lap.

"A few hours? What are you working on?" Jason asked as he walked over to see Celina's work.

"Actually, I've gotten started on familiarizing myself with the nanobots. These are all of the manuals and design blueprints that I printed out" Celina answered, presenting the papers to Jason.

"Wait what? Do you have access to all of those?" Venus asked, surprised.

"I guess so? Why?" Celina asked.

"You definitely don't have the clearance for that. Here, hand your wristband over. I must have given you the wrong one," Venus sternly said as she rushed forward to take the wristband from Celina.

"I didn't know. I'm sorry." Celina responded as she sadly took off her wristband and held it up to Venus.

Jason saw the look of disappointment on Celina's face, like taking candy away from a baby. So he decided to step in.

"Wait, Venus!" Jason said, grabbing Venus' arm.

"What?" Venus asked.

"She's already seen all the blueprints already so what's the point in taking away her permission to see them now? Plus, I was looking forward to experimenting with the nanobots with Celina and it would help if she knew how they work. So I think she should keep her wristband," Jason said, attempting to persuade Venus.

"Mhmmm, ok fine. She can keep her wristband," Venus said, caving for her master.

"Thank you Venus! That means a lot to me," Celina added with a smile of joy.

"BUT, don't get too excited. I have my eye on you. You better not be digging around in things you aren't supposed to. Got it?" Venus said to Celina in a strict tone, very different from her usual cheerful attitude.

"Got it. Thank you, Venus," Celina replied with a warm smile.

*GURGLE*

Venus' stomach loudly rumbled causing her to clutch her stomach.

"Are you ok?" Celina asked, looking at Venus with concern.

"Yes! Sorry! I just really need to get something to eat." Venus said as she hobbled off to the food generator clutching her stomach.

Celina couldn't help but gaze as Venus' foot and a half boobs jiggled in their cloth prison as she walked away. "I don't know, Venus seemed pretty mad about it all," Celina said, doubting herself.

"No, don't worry about her. She was just hangry is all," Jason replied.

"Haha, yeah I don't blame her. She does have a lot of mouths to feed." Celina said, starting to lighten up.

"Yeah no kidding. Anywho, have you found anything interesting yet?" Jason asked, looking at some of the documents on the table.

"I didn't really find anything interesting in these blueprints or manuals. At least, nothing that we didn't already talk about. But while I was looking for all the documentation on the nanobots, I found something weird. Come look," Celina said as she waved Jason over to look at the computer monitor.

"When I pulled up the files on the nanobots, I found some restricted folders that I don't have access to," Celina said as she demonstrated by scanning her wristband, causing a red 'restricted access' icon to pop up on the screen.

"Interesting. I've never seen that before. I wonder if Venus knows anything about that. Venus, do you know anything about this restricted folder?" Jason asked, turning to Venus, who had just latched onto the faucet.

"Hmm?" Venus gurgled through her mouth full of water as she looked towards Jason from across the room.

"Why is this folder on the nanobots restricted?" Jason asked again.

Venus, who didn't hear what Jason said, shrugged her shoulders with her mouth full of water, then proceeded to reattach her mouth to the running faucet.

"Mhm, ok I guess it's nothing bad then," Jason said as he carelessly looked away from Venus.

"Do we not have cups?" Celina asked, pointing towards Venus, whose tits nearly dragged her into the sink.

"How did you do that?" Celina asked, surprised Jason opened it with ease.

"This is my ship so I guess I have access to everything," he responded.

"Good to know. Now, what is so special about this folder" Celina said as she leaned into the monitor to inspect the folder which contained one file.

"Mhm, looks like it's just the manual," Celina said as she opened the file and skimmed through it.

"That's weird. Why would it be restricted then?" Jason asked.

"I'm not sure- Oh wait. What's this?" Celina said pointing at the section of the screen which read 'Experimental settings' along with many warnings which cautioned the user not to use these settings.

"Experimental settings for the nanobots?" Jason exclaimed.

"I guess so. This was definitely not in the manual I printed out," Celina added as she skimmed over the document.

"Mhm I see. That's why this was restricted. What does it say though?" Jason asked as he moved closer to the screen to get a better look.

"Holy shit!" Celina burst out as she covered her mouth in shock.

"What?! What is it?" Jason said as he leaned in, intrigued by the source of her outburst.

"Look," Celina replied as she pointed to the line which read 'Genetic Modification'.

"Wait, this wasn't included in the regular manual?" Jason asked.

"Nope. It never once mentioned anything about genetic modification, which is what I was looking for after you told me about the injection that changed your genetic sequence." Celina replied as she backed away from the monitor and looked back at Jason.

Why didn't the regular manual say anything about genetic modification if he got an injection that did so? Jason pondered for a moment. Then, it clicked.

"Oh, I see now. It all makes sense..." Jason said to himself.

"What makes sense?" Celina curiously asked.

"Venus told me when I first got on the ship that the Valatians struggled with two things when it came to innovating: Reproduction and genetics," Jason said as he paced back and forth.

"Ok and?" Celina said, begging him to continue.

"And Venus told me that they tried to experiment with the genetic modification abilities of the nanobots. Eventually, they were able to modify only a small number of genes successfully. It was enough to be used on someone like me, who had small enough changes that the nanobots could successfully alter my genes and propagate the changes throughout my body." Jason continued explaining.

"Ok, what exactly are you getting at?" Celina questioned.

"Well, let's just see if my hunch is right," Jason responded as he leaned into the monitor and scrolled down past the numerous, serious warnings.

"Bingo," Jason said as he stepped back from the monitor.

"What did you find?" Celina asked.

"Take a look for yourself," Jason said as he gestured Celina towards the monitor.

Celina walked back towards the screen with an uncertain but curious look on her face.

She gasped at what she saw.

Bodies of mutilated Valatians in cages filled the screen. Initially, the pictures began with some Valatians with some different kind of deformity whether it was an extra tail or longer legs. But eventually, the pictures took a very dark turn as the changes became more and more extreme. Tails were growing out of their eye sockets, massive tumors consumed their bodies, eyes were scattered across their limbs, organs were growing outside of their skin, and so on. As a scientist, Celina was absolutely petrified at the catastrophe before her. Celina slowly backed away in horror as tears started to form in her eyes.
