Selena and Roger

This one's the first of what I hope turns into a fun series. Be prepared to take your time! All characters represented here are over the age of 21. I hope you enjoy it!

It was Friday afternoon, and Roger sat at his desk, furiously typing away at a report his manager had demanded be ready for review over the weekend. Kris was normally a pretty laid-back boss, but he had been cracking the whip lately. He had an upcoming presentation with the executives next week, and the mood in the office was tense.

Roger generally liked his job, but weeks like this one were hellish. Compiling sales figures on the various cheap knickknacks they sold at Barr Novelties could be tedious work, even with the powerful programs they had to help analyze data. It didn't help that everyone knew they weren't having a good quarter, so there was unspoken pressure to dress up the bad news as much as possible to appease the c-suite.

Roger prided himself on good analysis and tried his best not to cut any corners, even with the impending deadline. He sighed, stretching his arms out to alleviate some of the ever increasing tension in his shoulders. As he looked up, Roger caught a glimpse of Selena, one of the top members of the sales team conversing with another colleague. She was just a little on the short side, with a slim hourglass figure and a pretty round face. He especially loved the different braids she tried. Lately she'd been tying them in a complex knot at the back of her head.

Roger had always found Selena to be exceptionally attractive. In fact, he'd thought about asking her out a few times over the three years he'd worked at Barr Novelties, but he had heard enough 'workplace-romance-gone-awry' horror stories to make him wary of trying to get involved. Plus, the awkwardness that would arise if she didn't reciprocate interest would make coming to work each day dreadful. He did steal a glance every now and then, but he tried not to linger. He really didn't want to come off as some sort of creep.

"Hey Roger!" called Kris, snapping him out of his reverie. He whipped around to see his manager briskly weaving through rows of cubicles toward his desk. Everything about Kris oozed confidence, from his immaculately cut and shaped black hair down to his firm gait. "How are we looking, Roger?"

Roger glanced at the nearly finished report on his screen.

"Almost there. Honestly, it's pretty much done. I'm just proofreading my summary and double checking the numbers right now."

Kris heaved a sigh of relief. "Fantastic. It's great to know I can count on you to get stuff done."

"Hey, just doing my job." Roger replied.

"Well," Kris said, "I don't want you to ever think I don't notice how you're doing. Performance reviews should be kind to you this year. I'll make sure of it." He added a wink for good measure.

"It's about time!" Roger said. "I'll have this over to you in just a few minutes. How is the presentation coming?"

Kris bobbed his head uncertainly. "Alright, I think. I've got plenty of work to do over the weekend, but I think I can put a positive spin on things." Kris tapped Roger's desk abruptly. "I've got to get back to it. Thanks again for all the hard work." Kris started to walk away, but then turned back around. "Hey, I've got to take a break from all this before I dive back in tomorrow. How about we gather some of the team together and head down to Sandy's at six? Drinks will be on me!"

Roger smiled, hiding his nervousness at the thought of spending his Friday evening socializing.

"That sounds great, actually. I'll see you there."

Kris flashed an affable grin before heading back to his office. Roger couldn't help but feel good about the compliments from Kris. From anyone else it wouldn't have meant much, but he knew Kris was sincere, and getting some positive feedback after such a hard week was nice. He finished checking his numbers and turned in the report, then shot Kris a text to let him know he'd wait for everyone in the downstairs atrium.

Roger grabbed a bag of chips from a nearby vending machine and absently thumbed through random apps on his phone while he waited for everyone to show up. Slowly, the team started to filter in. Tom, an older white-haired man with a bushy mustache was the first. He was a friendly guy, and was apparently quite good at setting profitable prices for their various knick-knacks. Cherise, the newest member of the sales team, was next. She was middle aged and wore her slightly graying hair in a tight bun. She always sported the same bright blue eye shadow that contrasted sharply against her pale skin. Veronica came in with Cherise. Roger had never really liked Veronica, but she was the most competent sales person they had. It was no coincidence that the new employees tended to gravitate to her for mentorship. Everyone mingled and exchanged polite conversation until Kris finally arrived. To Roger's delight, Selena was right behind him.

"Ready to do this?" Kris asked.

Everyone responded affirmatively, and they all headed to the parking lot. Sandy's was just a few blocks from the office, so they all arrived shortly and grabbed seats at the bar. Veronica made sure she got the seat next to Kris. She'd been sticking to him like glue, talking loudly and laughing at practically everything he said.

"Suck up," thought Roger, slipping onto a stool a few seats down from Veronica.

He found himself between Cherise and Selena, with Bob taking the stool on Selena's other side. Cherise and Veronica struck up a conversation with Kris about the new show they'd all been watching, and Bob was instantly sucked into one of the myriad football games playing on the televisions.

Roger found himself nervous sitting next to Selena. "The weather's been crazy lately, right?" he asked. Inwardly, he winced. The weather? Literally anything else would have been better.

Surprisingly, Selena seemed interested. "Right?" she replied. "I can't wait for this rain to stop. Luckily tomorrow is supposed to be clear."

Roger laughed - a little artificially, he felt - and stirred up some other small talk. He hadn't really talked to Selena before, and she turned out to be quite a fun person to converse with. She was a landscape photographer in her spare time, and they ended up flipping through some of her portfolio on her phone. Roger was especially impressed at the dramatic ocean cliff shots.

They talked for quite some time, exchanging phone numbers, adding each other on social media, discussing small things about their lives, and avoiding anything to do with work. Roger found himself developing quite the crush.

Selena suddenly flashed a mischievous grin. "Hey, you up for something fun?"

"Sure." Roger said, unsure what to expect. Selena glanced around quickly; once she was sure everyone else in the bar was preoccupied, she quickly reached up to her shirt collar and pulled it down to one side, revealing a stunning breast: not too big, not too small, and with a beautiful sunburst of light brown around the darkness of the nipple. Roger was stunned. Just as quickly as she had pulled her top down, Selena had slipped it back up. She winked at Roger, then turned and tapped Tom's shoulder to engage him about the game he was watching.

"Holy shit!" thought Roger. That had been the last thing he expected, and he was feeling a stirring sensation in his pants. She wasn't wearing a bra! Did she do this sort of thing often?

Roger suddenly became aware of the silly grin he was wearing and shook himself. He sipped on his drink and watched Selena until she finally tired of talking about football. With Tom still glued to the game, she turned back to Roger.

"So, what did you think?" she asked.

Roger smiled broadly.

"Absolutely perfect!" he replied. "I wouldn't mind a repeat performance."

"Not so fast." she scolded playfully. "You'll get another chance, but it's starting to get crowded in here. We wouldn't want to get caught and ruin the fun."

Roger put on a fake pout, eliciting a laugh from Selena.

"I tell you what," she said, "if you want some real fun, come with me tomorrow to the lake. It's my sister's 30th birthday, so her girlfriend and I are throwing her a party."

Roger hesitated. He wasn't a fan of big gatherings, and he'd been looking forward to a quiet weekend at home.

"I don't know," he said. "I'm not a huge party person."

"My sister isn't either, so it's not going to be a big gathering," Selena replied. "It's just her and her girlfriend Jen, me, and one other couple. And you." She flashed that mischievous grin again. It was irresistible.

"Well, in that case, count me in!" Roger said, smiling back.

"Great!" Selena said. "We'll see you there. I promise you'll enjoy yourself; we're a fun crowd."

She winked knowingly at the end, and Roger nearly fell out of his chair at the implications. He hadn't been touched in a while, and it was hard not to explode at the salacious nature of Selena's thinly veiled hints.

"Look at the time!" she suddenly exclaimed. "I'd better get out of here. Can't wait to see you this weekend, Roger!"

Roger waved goodbye, and struggled to avoid leering at her backside as she walked away.

He waited a while for the booze to wear off, wondering about what Selena might have in store for tomorrow, before absently exchanging some polite goodbyes. He walked back to his car and drove home.

He'd no sooner walked into his apartment than he felt his phone buzz. He glanced down to see that it was a text from Selena.

Bring swim gear. And whatever you need to stay a night or two ;). Meet me at the Chevron on Wells and Carrington at 8am.

Roger smiled, incredulous that he had hit it off so well with Selena. He stripped down to his boxers and went to bed dreaming of shining lakes and Selena's lovely breasts.

*********************************

Roger woke up at 6 a.m. and threw together a gym bag's worth of clothes and accessories - everything he needed, he hoped - to spend a weekend away. After showering and quickly running a comb through his dirty-blond hair, he brewed a cup of coffee and scrolled through the news. Time crawled. He wanted to get going, but he also didn't want to appear too eager. He finally hopped into his car, energized for once at the idea of going to a party.

Roger pulled up to the gas station a few minutes early, but was pleasantly surprised to find Selena already there. He waved and jumped out of the car to meet her.

"Hey Roger!" she said cheerfully. "I figured we could grab some snacks and drinks to hold us over on the trip."

Roger agreed and they grabbed some stuff from the convenience store before heading back to their cars. She texted him the address of the cabin and they hit the road. The lake was usually about two hours from the city, but it was much faster with the empty Saturday-morning streets. It didn't take long to get out into the countryside. Once they did, Roger found himself thoroughly enjoying the scenery.

Trees seemed to spring up all around him in greater numbers as he drove on; likewise, nature seemed to progressively chip away at the asphalt below his tires. He followed Selena's car around one last bend, and was suddenly struck by a stunning view: a pristine lake surrounded by tall pines, the morning sun glinting upon its still surface. Roger had to remind himself to take a breath.

The scene was all the more beautiful because it was so empty; the busy season was over, and it occurred to Roger that the six of them might be the only people around for miles. That helped him relax. If he ever became overwhelmed by the weekend's festivities, he could step outside, walk a few feet, and be completely, profoundly alone.

It took a few more minutes of driving down a rough dirt road to arrive at a roomy- looking cabin with large windows looking out onto the lake. He noticed that there were already two vehicles parked.

"Well, we made it!" Selena exclaimed. "Come on in, it looks like everyone else is already here."

Once again, Roger felt his anxiety rising. He always got nervous around new people. One last look at the surrounding forest reminded him that the great outdoors was always there if he needed a minute.

They made their way into the cabin. Selena loudly announced "We're here!" as they set their bags down. The small entryway opened up into a rustic living area that could have come straight out of a Cabela's magazine, complete with a couple of deer heads mounted near the fireplace. The high vaulted ceiling made room for huge windows that took up nearly the entire lake-facing side of the house. A set of steep stairs ran up to a roomy loft and a hallway led to more rooms at the back of the house.

"In here, girl!" came a shout from around the corner. They walked around into the kitchen.

"This is my sister, Nicki." said Selena, running in to give her a hug. Nicki was shorter than Selena and a little chubbier, but the same light brown complexion and wavy black hair made the family resemblance obvious.

"Hey there." Roger waved from across the room.

Nicki just laughed. "No way, we're huggers around here. Bring it in!"

Roger stepped in and hugged her awkwardly, trying not to seem too familiar.

"Hmmmm, not the best hug I've had," Nicki said. "We're going to have to work on that."

Selena laughed, and Roger and Nicki joined in. Much to his surprise, he found himself loosening up in response to the playful jab at his awkwardness.

"Where's everyone else?" Selena asked.

"Right here!" a male voice called from down the hall.

A tall, lean, muscular guy stepped into the kitchen. Roger found himself impressed at the immaculate tone of the man's arms, which were on full display thanks to the tank top he wore, and by his pristine, wavy, light-brown hair. Being a bit of a gym rat himself, Roger could tell that Gavin put a lot of work into his physique. A big smile also revealed perfect gleaming white teeth.

"Gavin and Trish," Selena said, "Meet Roger."

Trish had her arm locked around Gavin's, and Roger's very first thought upon seeing her was that she was an absolute bombshell. She had gorgeous shoulder-length blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. Roger barely noticed her height and weight, because her feminine curves confidently insisted that both were, simply, exactly right. He knew she was shorter than Gavin, at least. The tight-fitting crop top she wore accentuated her boobs perfectly, and the low neck was cut deep enough to give the imagination plenty to work with.

Jen was with them as well, a tall thin woman with beautiful light brown skin and a tight curly afro. Her eyes were a striking pale brown that almost perfectly matched her skin tone, and her colorful makeup screamed 'fun!'.

Roger turned his attention to Gavin, knowing that if he didn't, he'd find it difficult to keep his eyes off of Trish's beautiful face - and other features. "Nice to meet you!" he said, shaking Gavin's hand and trying not to wince at how firm his grip was.

"Likewise!" said Gavin enthusiastically. "Trish is my wife."

Trish bounced and gave a perky little wave. "Hey!" she said happily. "Nice to meet you, Roger."

"Nice to meet you too, Trish", he said, carefully focusing on her face and making sure to avoid glancing down.

Jen and the others exchanged hugs and greetings with Selena. Nicki went back to working on the meal she'd been prepping before she'd been interrupted by everyone's arrivals.

"Why are you cooking on your birthday?" Selena chided. "Get out the way, let me take care of this!"

Jen joined in as well, and Nicki obliged. Soon everyone was chatting around the island as Jen and Selena sorted various sandwich fixings into containers.

Everyone focused on getting to know Roger since he was the new guy in the group. With great effort, he avoided wilting in the spotlight. He also tried to get the others to talk about themselves whenever he could.

He learned that Gavin worked as a big time salesman at a local athletic company, and that Trish was a programmer for a local tech startup. Nicki, meanwhile, was working the night shift at a hotel, but was also taking classes to get a marketing degree. Jen ran her own online craft store and maintained a delivery driving gig on the side. They all loved working out, so the conversation naturally transitioned over to routines and diets.

It wasn't long before Jen and Selena wrapped up the meal prep. Nicki took the cue, clearing her throat to grab everyone's attention.

"Alright," she boomed with authority, "we've got a boat waiting for us at the dock. Let's all get changed and get out on the lake!" Everyone cheered at that proposition. "Girls, we can get changed in the back room. Guys can use the loft since the front bathroom is so small. Roger, I've got you sleeping up there if that's okay."

Roger agreed that the loft was fine, and the men and women split up, Roger and Selena each grabbing their bags from the entryway before heading to their respective rooms. Once in the loft, Roger and Gavin both stripped down to put on their swim gear. Roger couldn't help but notice Gavin's manicured crotch, with just a bit of well-groomed hair left, unlike Roger's clean-shaven privates. It was hard to tell with sideways glances, but Gavin's cock looked pretty average. Unless he was really a grower, Roger thought his was probably a little bigger. He couldn't be sure, but he thought Gavin was sizing him up the same way.

"So," Gavin said, "how long have you and Selena been together?"

Roger blushed. "Oh, we're not really together," he stammered. "I mean, we've worked at the same place for a while, but I never really talked to her until yesterday." Roger said.

Gavin looked surprised. "No kidding!" he exclaimed. "She must really be into you then. She's usually pretty shy around guys. Honestly, I thought she was gay for quite a while."

Roger was taken aback. "Crazy," he replied. "I got the impression she was pretty outgoing with men." He hesitated, then smiled. "She actually flashed me a titty at the bar last night."

He quickly pulled up his beach-sunset themed trunks as he felt his penis start to twitch at the memory.

"No freaking way!" Gavin exclaimed, laughing as he slipped into his own pair of solid bright-red swim shorts. "Dude, she's really crushing on you hard then. Don't blow it man!"

Roger found himself getting excited as he rubbed in some sunscreen. Even though he was an attractive guy, he hadn't had great luck with girls recently, and he hoped he wouldn't miss his chance this weekend. His short exchange with Gavin had given him a boost in confidence, but had also raised the stakes in his mind. He'd been slightly less nervous when he'd thought that Selena was a freewheeler.

"Hey, can you get my back?" he asked Gavin. "No homo."

Gavin laughed as Roger tossed him the bottle of sunscreen. "Oh no, this is totally homo," he replied cheerfully. He rubbed the sunscreen onto Roger's back, and Roger returned the favor, laughing as Gavin let out an exaggeratedly sensual "Oh, Roger!"

They both threw on some t-shirts and flip flops, then made their way downstairs. The girls were all still in the back, so they cracked open a couple of beers and waited out on the deck. The lakeside forest buzzed with the sounds of birds and insects. Roger found it a welcome change from the sounds of urban life.

Raucous laughter announced the girls' arrival, and they burst through the back door ready for the lake. They all look fine in their swim gear, each of them wearing semi-sheer white cover ups that didn't hide much of anything. Nicki had on a navy blue one piece that accentuated her curvy body perfectly. Selena wore a white one piece with cutouts revealing her sides and back. Jen had on a leopard print bikini that almost faded into her well tanned skin.
