The Camgirl Pt. 01: The Roommate

Liam opened his mouth to say something, but then heard someone coming in.

"Liam? Blake? I'm back."

Liam immediately went stiff. So far, it had seemed he might finally get lucky tonight after his week-long hiatus, and Marie seemed to be in a good mood from the tone of her voice. Unfortunately, her seeing him with Blake could ruin that mood. Blake seemed nervous for a moment too, but then stood up, grinning at Liam. She walked past him, leaning down quickly and murmuring, "I'm going to help make sure you get lucky tonight." Then she straightened and continued toward the door, "Hey, Marie."

"Hey, Blake, here's your smoothie. Liam's not here yet, is he?"

Liam rose from the couch and turned toward the girls, somehow keeping his face composed and guilt-free, "Hey, Marie."

Marie blinked in surprise and her expression became unreadable.

Shit...you better work some magic, Blake.

Before Marie could say anything, Blake spoke up again, "He came in just a few minutes ago, looking a little lost, so we sat down and got to know each other a bit. I don't know why you waited so long before bringing him over, he seems pretty great. So far at least," Blake added, raising a dark blue eyebrow in mock-suspicion. Then she leaned in toward Marie and whispered something in her ear that made Marie's eyes go wide and heat color her cheeks.

"Well," Blake said, raising her voice again, "I'll leave you two alone for now. Thanks again for the smoothie, Marie. It was great to meet you, Liam. I hope I see you around again."

"Nice to meet you too, Blake," He said, giving her a little wave goodbye.

Once Blake disappeared into her room, Liam moved to help Marie with the food, "What did you get?"

Marie took a moment to answer, looking as though she had spaced out a bit, "What? Oh, sandwiches and smoothies from this place down the street."

Once Liam had both the smoothie holder and the bag of food in hand, Marie wrapped her arms around his neck and pushed herself up on her toes to give him a kiss. Liam blinked in surprise before returning the kiss. Given how Marie supposedly felt about him and Blake interacting, he had barely expected a peck so soon after the short, blue-maned girl's disappearance. He definitely hadn't expected Marie to tangle her fingers in his hair and suck on his lower lip before forcing her tongue into his mouth. Liam kissed her back, trying to match his girlfriend's unexpected fervor, and found himself breathless when their lips unlocked.

"What was that for?" Liam asked between deep breaths.

Marie smiled up at him, disentangling her arms from his neck, "I haven't had a moment alone with you in five days, Liam, what do you think?"

She took his wrist and pulled him towards what he assumed was her room, "Come on, I'm starving."

Liam shook his head, following Marie into her room. He was still unsure exactly what was happening, but he knew better than to question it.
