"Not thoroughly, and not today, but yes, ultimately I must," Perikos wrapped himself around my hand. "Is that what you are afraid of?"
I thought about Perikos and Shadow feeding from me in front of a crowd of followers and it excited me. Them riding me in public for the greater good. Man I was fucked up.
"Is that all the scares you now?" He lifted me down off a crumbling ridge and tugged gently on my collar again and I flushed again. "You're no more and no less than you always were, Little Shade. Now you are beloved for it."
I kept walking, letting Perikos lead the way. Beloved. Valued. We would migrate away from here and I could likely find something to eat other than fungus for the rest of my life. There was no way in hell Brogn or the others made it back to their ships. Even I knew that, from the moment they had been dismissed without escort. Looking back, I wasn't sorry for them. Brogn got no less than he deserved.
What exactly was I afraid of then? It wasn't Kragosa, or the Loyalists, or survival, and certainly not Perikos or the dark.
"Hmm. The dark is still the dark, Little Shade. It is still unknown. It still holds surprises."

DreamLover_4over 5 years agoI am so glad I came across this story after it has all been submitted because it's definitely the kind of story to sit and read all at once. Your character development and ability to create a scene is remarkable. Throw in the added kinkines of it all and you've got yourself an amazing piece of unexpected erotica. Myself, along with many others as I've seen it, would be more than happy if there was a continuation even though you said it's the end. There's something so lovable about what became of their relationship, more than just the "sub/Dom" aspect of it. I mean, I cried when they fought! Ugh, there's just too many good things I can say about this story you have developed so wonderfully! Thank you for sharing with us xoxo

JessicaAlexanderalmost 9 years agoI just finished this story and all I can say is "WOW"! It kind of reminded me of "Friday" by Heinlin but with lots of sex with a tentacle monster! You should consider cleaning it up just a tad bit and publishing it as a book.

Anonymousabout 11 years agoThis is not my usual schtick. I love sci-fi and stories well told but I've never been particularly turned on by the bdsm slave master dynamic. That being said? Woo boy did you craft one hell of a story. I found it incredibly well written, wonderfully original and hot as hell. Seriously. Hot.

fireguy365almost 12 years agoThis last part of the story seems to have been hurried and not as professional as the other chapters. Lots of small errors that a proof reader should have caught. Please don't think I'm complaining, I very much appreciate the effort put into a truly great story and it's ending.... or is it the end? As a Sci-Fi author you have a great many fans, please count me as one of them.
Anonymousabout 12 years agoI keep coming back hoping there will be more, the next part of the story. Are hybrid children possible? Will they able to withstand sun light..... I've reread the trilogy so many time I've lost count. I hardly ever re-read anything but this has to be one of the best stories I've ever read!
