"I'll definitely be calling you soon," he told her.
Alan insisted on calling her an Uber this time, and she accepted. When the Uber car arrived, he escorted her to the door where she kissed him hard on the mouth, taking him by surprise.
"Next time you can kiss me," she told him.
Before he could say anything, she walked out the door and into the Uber car. Alan stood by the doorway, smiling as the car drove away.
