The Pleasure Giver Chronicles Ch. 01

He turned and left the room, leaving me stunned, then bemused. A pleasure giver's work is never done, I decided. Self-reflection would have to come later. For now, I had another client to serve. I got off the bed and took off my own stockings, being careful not to make a mess for the housekeeper. I took one last whiff, folded them up with...what was his name? He never gave it to me. Oh, well: just one more detail that reminded me that I was going to be a secondary character: the anonymous giver of pleasure. That, apparently, extended to how Mr. King saw me. How should I feel about that? Later, when there was no more service to be rendered and pleasure to be given, I'd have a chance to think about that. But, for now, I had to make myself presentable for my next client.
