"At some point. It's important not to be too attached. Especially to your therapist." He winked. "But we will travel in the same circles, and we will no doubt see each other again. At some point, I may use you. Melody? Take Summer home and help her adjust to her new life."
Melody started putting on her clothes, so Summer did too. Part of Summer wanted to stay. Part of her wondered if she was in love with Dr. Brown. But she wanted to experience that date, too. The idea that there were an unknown number of men who could tell her to do whatever they wanted was incredibly sexy. The door out of the office represented a chance for a whole new, exciting, life.
She opened it.
As her back was turned, Dr. Brown said, "I look forward, Summer, to seeing how your paintings change, now that you know yourself better."
"I do too, Dr. Brown."
