"I want to know everything."

"Ha, I don't even know where to start." He looked at my face and sighed. Like all was right in the world because I was with him on his bed. Because I was all that ever mattered to him. "I guess I'll tell you what's on my mind first. I just want to say thank you for trying, I know I'm asking a lot from you. When you fainted I freaked out and called Xe'Zhi, he said that you'd be fine. While he checked you he gave you a translator, which has been imbedded into your brain. That being said we had to give you pain killers. Your head will be sore for the next couple of days, but nothing should happen. All Xoltarins have translators as well, so it's a process we know well.

We are a strange group because as far as I know the Xoltarin Republic is the only group that souly lives in space ships. Centuries ago the Xolt were slaves on a planet called Arcaina. Primarily rule by two countries; the country Arcaina and the country Crythesis. Arcaina was mainly a human country, but within there were other species as well. The Xolt were one of them. We were praised for our strength and used as guards and labor. From what I learnt, we were in chains and had no rights. If the humans wanted us whipped, we were tied to poles. If they wanted to take advantage of us, we were tied to their beds. After the war broke out we were scattered. Some Xolts went to the vampires who lived in Crythesis; some went with the Humans of Arcaina. The Xolt Republic left the planet entirely. 'The people of the land in the sky' was what the Arcain and Crythesisian people called them, but they were essentially what Earth calls Angels. They took us in and taught us how to survive on our own, how to repair ships, to create more, and languages. Once they were pleased that we were suffient on our own they took their own ships and left that world, to their own. They too spilt into two groups. No one really knows what happened to them, but the Xolt wouldn't question them if they needed our help.

From what I've leant in books and talks with our elders, we are also different in appearance. The Xolt who still live on Arcaina have skin the color of sand and hair that ranges from black to lavender, where as we have white skin and green hair. But one thing that has remained the same was our ability to procreate. Seeing as we have no females, every Xolt has the ability to have children. Two Xolt have sex, the dominate partner will release his seamen into the passive partner to fertilize the eggs. Much like reptiles do on Earth. But instead of laying the eggs, we keep them within our bodies. The eggs hatch within us, feeding the young in our abdomen. When the young reach a certain point the passive Xolt is rushed to the medics and a c-section is performed." He paused to see my reaction. It was freaky as hell, I'll admit it. I wanted no part of child birth; to be honestly truthful I never really paid any attention to it in class either. And really, I wasn't ready for kids anyway; I was still struggling to admit how much I cared for Xe'Trygg.

"Now here's one of the biggest things that most beings have issues with," he began. He was sitting up by this point, looking me in the eyes. "All Xolt have the ability to change the genetic code of DNA. My captain has done it with his mate, Jing-Ko. But the only way that the change is possible is the non-Xolt drinks our seamen." My eyes widened. "The changes aren't too drastic. The non-Xolt will have the ability to produce young if the Xolt can, this is the main change. We've also noticed that sometimes eyes will change, or sometimes scales appear. Occasionally hair has changed color, but no non-Xolt has ever changed completely to become Xolt themselves."

My heart started to beat a mile a minute. I know he just wanted me to be sure of everything, but it was not something I wanted to hear, especially not while I was trying to come to terms with being in love with an Alien. A Xolt. If I gave him a simple blow job and drank his cum, I would become one of them. I wanted to stay me, I didn't want to change!

"I-I don't know if I can do that," I started, "I-I--"

"Shh, don't worry, Steven. I'm not going to make you do anything you don't want to do. I will never hurt you, remember?" He brushed my hair from out of my eyes and kissed the top of my head. "I will protect you from anything and anyone. If anyone ever hurts you, I will tear their head from their shoulders to protect you. You are my mate, and I will love and protect you until the day I die." He pulled me into his strong arms and rested my head against his chest. "I love you, Steven."

As much as I wanted to say that I loved him back I couldn't. I couldn't open my mouth and even take a breath. I know that in that very instant that I hurt him, but he kept hugging me, brushing my blond hair with his fingers and kissing the top of my head. He said something, but he was too quiet and I couldn't hear.

"Thank you," I whispered as I kissed his neck.

That night he refused to sleep in the same bed as me. He said that he wanted to make sure that I was comfortable before he took up the rest of the space, so instead he slept on the couch. Over the past 48 hours I hadn't left the bedroom so I had no idea how well he slept, or what the living room even really looked like. But I was sure that with time I would. I wasn't planning on going anywhere.

The next morning I woke up to the smell of bacon and I realized that I hadn't had food since the night I was taken. I was starving and thirsty. The shutters to the window were open and I saw the stars. It was amazing. Then, another ship...Then another. I was amazed to count nine ships in total. Nine ships made the Xolt Republic. But this ship was his, his home and his life and I would stay with him till the end.

I walked into the bathroom and relieved myself. While washing my hands I noticed how grungy I looked. My blond hair that normally hung smoothly was ruffled and knotted. My clothes were wrinkled and smelt. My skin looked like it was oily and needed a good washing, so I took my clothes off and walked into the large glass shower.

The water was heavenly, warm with out being too hot or cold. The jets hitting all my pressure points were helping me relax. I took what looked like shampoo and lathered it in my hair. It smelt...Interesting. Like lavender and sandalwood, but also...kind of like the desert. I couldn't fully grasp what it smelt like, but I knew that I liked it. In fact I rubbed it into my skin so that I could smell it all day.

Then I remembered that I had no other clothing.

"Um..." I started, "Ryan? I have a question for you." Hopefully it was loud enough for him to hear. If not I was screwed.

The door shot up into the ceiling and made a clicking sound. There he stood. He wore a pair of black silk pants but no shirt. His skin was flawless, his nipples gray with a ting of pink, and his muscles well sculpted. His green hair was thrown over his shoulders and he looked like he could have been an exotic prince. His piercings glimmered in the light of the bathroom. He smiled when he saw me. I looked down and blushed, covering my genitals. He then smelt the air and chuckled.

"Been using my shower gel?" He asked, walking to the glass with a towel in hand.

"I couldn't see anything else," I murmured. He nodded and walked back to the door as soon as I had the towel around my waist.

"What's your question?" He asked, "I need to get back to the kitchen before the food burns."

"I don't have any clothes," I said, "What am I supposed to wear?"

"In my closet is a back pack full of your clothes. I packed it before we left. Hopefully it'll last till we get to the next planet where we can buy you new clothes."

I knit my brows together. Closet? He had a closet? I searched the whole room and I couldn't find a closet. Xe'Trygg noticed my confusion and laughed at me.

"You don't expect things to be the same as Earth do you?" He smiled. He took my hand and gently showed me to the wall closest to the door. I liked to sleep near the window and I kind of felt weird being on the other side of the room. Xe'Trygg placed his hand on a small dark gray box and the wall moved, showing me what his closet looked like. I found my pack instantly.

"Thank you," I smiled as I pulled a pair of jeans out. They smelt like home and it made me very happy.

"No problem. Come into the next room when you're ready to eat, I'll be waiting for you." And off he went. I watched as his strong back, broad shoulders, and swift tail moved out of the room. I think I could learn to love that, I thought.

I dressed quickly only to find Xe'Trygg still cooking. I was surprised to see that they had stoves on the ship, but I had a feeling it was just a personal preference of Xe'Trygg's.

"Hey," I said. He didn't turn to look at me and he kept cooking. I was okay with that, his back was just as beautiful as his front. The way his deep green hair fell down his broad back...The way his pants hung off his waist. The contrast of the darkness to the paleness of his silver-white scales. He was truly beautiful. Why he wanted me was a wonder. I didn't consider myself good looking in any way.

Blond hair fell in waves and rested just above my shoulder. Blue eyes, slim figure--barely any muscle--tall at 6'2". My voice was manly but not very deep, I guess if you had to put a title on me it would be twink. Personally, though, titles were bad for the mind. If you think about them too much you become the titles, a stereotype. I was taught in school and at home to never give into them.

"Hey, did you have a good sleep?" What ever he was cooking smelt amazing. It was a mixture of bacon and something else. My stomach growled and Xe'Trygg laughed at me. "You're hungry, that's good." We turned around and sat on the couch in front of the large screen TV. He took both of our plates and set them on the wooden table then took his seat. He looked at me and smiled. I felt my heart skip a beat. "I hope you like breakfast. Bacon, Xii egg and lettuce on baked bread. Xii egg is kind of like a chicken egg only it comes from a bigger bird."

"It's green."

"Well, do you like them on a train? Do you like them in the rain?" He laughed at his own joke. It was interesting to see how much he really knew about our culture. Dr. Seuss was a childhood favorite of mine and I was glad to know he liked it too. "Don't be such a chicken. It's good for you."

I picked up the fork and scooped a piece of the green egg into my mouth. It wasn't bad, in fact it was good, but it was sweeter then a regular chicken egg. I ate everything as fast as I could. I knew that he wouldn't take the food away, in fact he would more then likely give me more, but I was so hungry it didn't really matter. Xe'Trygg didn't say anything, but out of the corner of my eye I saw him smirk.

After breakfast we sat on the couch together. He pulled me to close to him and he smelt my hair.

"You smell so good, Steven." He rubbed my back.

"I smell like you," I chuckled, leaning into his hand.

"Good," he kissed the top of my head. Gently rubbing my arms he moved his lips to my nose. "I don't think I really gave you time to ask any questions. What do you have for me?"

"Why do you have a stove? Where are we going? Where is your family? How old are you? Why are the Xolt learning about Humans?" I started listing out so many questions at once that he pressed his white fingers against my lips to stop me. Laughing he kissed my head and told me how curious I was.

"I have a stove because I like cooking. He have duplicators that will give us basically anything but I like cooking my own food. Currently we are heading to a planet we have already visited before, but Captain Xe'Hul won't tell us where. My mother and father live in another ship and my two older brothers live here with me. I am about 2026 Xolt years, that's equal to about 26 in human years. As for your last question, it's not so much 'humans' that we're studying, it's the Earth. If we wanted to study humans we could've just stayed on Arcaina. The Earth is so different from any other planet we've ever been too, that being the case; we wanted to learn more about. Perhaps in the future our kind will be welcome on Earth. We have other Xolt on other planets to gather research as well. So it's not just Earth." He smiled, "What else?"

"When you spoke to that other alien--"

"Xe'Zhi."

"--Xe'Zhi, you referred to him as 'Xolt'. What was that supposed to mean? Who is the Capitan? Who is Jing-Ko? Why me?"

"Xolt is a term we use that is similar to 'brother' or 'friend' in English. Capitan Xe'Hul owns this ship and he is mated to Jing. Jing is a Chanture from Arcaina, he kind of looks like a humanoid version of a cat. 'Ko' is just the honorific for the passive mate. 'Xing' is the honorific for the dominate mate." He kissed me, "as for why you...When I first met you, you looked at your brothers friends and smiled. No matter what your brother did to you, you kept smiling and going on. You accepted us for who we were. There was goodness in you that I craved so badly. Besides, wanting to teach and help others is a honorable profession."

I smiled and kissed him. This kiss was different though, mainly because I initiated it, but also because there was more passion. Xe'Trygg took my bottom lip into his mouth and his sucked on it. We both took turns and we were breathing raggedly after a few minutes. I looked at the man before me and I saw the signs of sexual attraction. His pale face was slightly flushed, his breathing was rapid, and he had a growing erection. Xe'Trygg was hung. I guessed about 9.5 inches. Compared to me that was massive, I was only 6 inches when fully hard.

"Steven, I love you."

"I---"

"Where is he?!"

"Oh shit..."

Chapter 2

"Where is he?!"

"Oh shit..."

"What's going on?" I asked my hard on gone completely. I notice that Xe'Trygg also deflated and looked slightly pissed as well.

I looked at the bedroom from the couch and I noticed a man...cat-thing walking around sniffing the air. He had poofy white hair jutting out in every angle, two white cat ears at the top of his head and a long fluffy white tail. His eyes were amber, with out pupils and his stomach looked big and hard. He was about my height and could have been my age.

"Jing-ko, what are you doing here? How'd you get in?" Xe'Trygg asked, standing up in front of me.

"I found the code in my mates notes. Where is he, I wanna meet him!" The cat looked impatient, but as soon as he noticed me he bounced from the bed to the couch in no time at all. "Oh, he's so pretty. Did the humans on Arcaina look like him?" He asked trying to look around my protector.

"Yes, but he's still kind of scared. You need to give him some space Jing."

I touched Xe'Trygg's arm and he moved out of the way. I wanted to get a better look at this new creature in front of me. Back on earth I loved cats, but my father was allergic to them so we couldn't have one. Jing sat on his knees in front of me on the floor and looked up. He looked really curious and it made me want to laugh. His tail flicked from one side to the other and I could tell that sitting was not what he wanted to do.

"Hello," he smiled, giving me his hand, "My name is Jing and I'm mated to Xe'Trygg's brother, Xe'Hul."

"I thought Xe'Hul was the Capitan of the ship?" I asked looking at Xe'Trygg, my big, tall Xolt.

"Well, yeah," Jing said nodding, "he is technically, but they are also brothers. So is Xe'Zhi. They're the only ones on the ship with names that all start the same."

"I thought all Xolt names started with 'Xe'..."

Jing laughed at me and slapped his knee, "No, only those three. I think things would get confusing if every one had Xe' in the beginning, don't you think?"

My alien huffed and left the room. I looked as his sat on the bed, pulling something out of his pant pocket.

"I guess," I said, looking at him as he read something of the blue screen. "So then, does that make you my brother in-law or something?"

Jing knit his white eyebrows together, "I don't understand what that means."

"It means you are related by name but not blood," Xe'Trygg yelled from the other room. I didn't understand why he was so pissed; Jing seemed like a really nice guy. I sat on the floor with him. I wasn't scared of him, in fact he was cute. I liked cats...

"Oh...Well, yes then." Jing smiled, "So you trust me?" He took my hand into his and he smelled me. "You smell like your mate. That's good; no one's going to mess around with you then."

"Why'd you smell me?" I asked with my head bent back. I wasn't used to people smelling me; in fact I didn't understand why Xe'Trygg did it.

"I'm memorizing your scent so that I can find you." He smiled, giving my hand back, "Plus it's out of habit. I was blind not too long ago so that was how I learnt who was who."

"You were blind?" I asked, bending forward to looking into his eyes. His eyes looked just like all the other Xolt's I met, just a different color. They also looked more glossy. They were a wonderful shade of amber, they almost looked gold.

"Yeah, when my mate first met me I was blind and working in a brothel. He saved me. I was just changed not too long ago, now I'm pregnant. Oh! Here, feel!" He took my hand again and gently placed it on his stomach. It was cool, because it felt just like my mothers belly when she was pregnant with my brother. There was a male who was pregnant right in front of me, and he was happy about it.

"Are you happy?" I asked, rubbing his belly.

"Of course, I'm having children with the man I love the most. I would never have this opportunity if I stayed on Arcaina. As a gay male Chanture you couldn't have children, but with my mate I can. I've always wanted children, so this is a dream come true for me." He was glowing as he said that and it made me feel better about my new life. "I only wonder how many we're going to have." He chuckled.

"Why? I was told that the most you could have at one given time was three." I asked, Jing had lain down and I put my ear to his distended belly but all I could hear was his breathing.

"While that's true, as a cat-being and a Xolt it is in our nature to have lots of children. So just having three at one time wont stop us another."

"I think we should stop at three," I heard a newer lower voice and I jumped up and looked at the new comer. His hair was shorter then his brothers and was in a ponytail. If it was lying naturally it would land somewhere between his shoulder blades.

"But what if I want more?" Jing pouted, crossing his arms.

"Too bad," the Xolt laughed. He opened his strong arms and Jing bounced to his feat and ran to him. Leaning forward he pouted his lips and the Xolt bent down and kissed him. I was relieved to see such a happy couple. I really wanted that with Xe'Trygg. The contrast between the lovers though was funny. It was almost like my brother sitting in a floral couch. Jing was white and fluffy with tan skin where as Xe'Hul was green and sleek with white scales. Xe'Hul was tall and muscular and Jing was short and lanky.

I was very happy for them, and I wished for their best.

"It's an honor to meet my brother's mate. My name is Xe'Hul; I'm the Capitan of this ship." He was nice and when he smiled he looked less frightening, if only Xe'Zhi smiled. Maybe I'd like him more.

"It's a pleasure to meet my mate's brother. I'm Steven, I come from Earth," I smiled. I felt a pair of arms wrap themselves around me and I leaned into my mates embrace. He kissed the side of my head and smiled. If I could make him happy then everything would be alright.

"By the way," Xe'Trygg whispered, "he's the one who dealt with your absence at home. If you have any questions he would be the one to ask." Then he kissed me again.
