Click hereDarren South is an abusive, controlling, adulterer and you fell for his act hook line and sinker, you stupid bitch, she said to herself. How dumb can you be? You have to end this right now.
Shawna clicked the forward button on the email and selected Darren's address from the company directory. She hit send and reached for her phone.
Fuck you, she wrote, and sent the message.
She sat for a moment and gathered her thoughts. She didn't want to be here anymore. She wanted to crawl under a rock and die, but she would have to settle for leaving early.
She fired a quick text to her boss, gathered her belongings, and walked out of her office toward the door. Her head swam, the tide carrying her a hundred directions at once. Ahead of her, she saw a shadow filling Darren's door way.
"Shawna, wait," Darren said as she walked past him. "I can explain."
"Don't bother," she said and carried on walking.
She made it to her car before breaking down into body wracking sobs. No amount of make up could stand up to the flooding on her face as she let a full fledged ugly cry explode from her.
You deserve this, she thought. You brought this on yourself. You believed his bullshit, and now you're paying for it.
Through a tsunami of salty tears, she managed to start her car and drive away, ignoring the constant buzzing from her purse.
This story is incredible! My heart is breaking for Shawna and the way you wrote her reaction to the email was exactly how I would have responded. I love the exploration stories dealing with hidden desires and fantasties and everything we have been taught was wrong. Guess my love of them is in finding out others have them also.
Will be checking everyday for the next chapter. You are truly a gifted writer.
OMG say it aint so! Darren...
I am so invested in their story.
Shawna's reaction is exactly what i would have done.
I can't wait for your next chapter.
