Don, looking up again, nodded and said, "Yeah. Yeah. I'm good."

Don's heart then jumped as he saw - through his peripheral vision - a female figure walking into class. His head snapped up to see Maria heading for her seat and staring at him. She was wearing a big smile as she waved.

Don forced a smile as he returned her wave. He then looked at his phone to see the time. There was one minute before class would start. Still no Jill.

Don finished his set up and then addressed the group. "OK, this is the big day."

He, once more, glanced at his phone for the time before staring at the classroom door for a few seconds. He then pursed his lips before continuing. "I know I got a few texts about problems with your websites. Don't worry. We will work everything out before we go live with them tonight. And, Randall, we will get you on the road to your first million dollars before you know it."

Randall gave an exaggerated nod as everyone smiled, including Don. His heart then jumped for the second time as Jill walked into the room. Don stared at her as Jill kept her head down, not making eye contact with him as she sped to her seat.

"What's up, J?" Randall said. He then gave a curious look to Curtis as Jill gave a quick wave before sitting down and placing her laptop on her desk. Don was desperate to catch her gaze but she wasn't cooperating.

After delaying class for an uncomfortable amount of time, Don said, "So... go ahead and pull up your websites so we can do our final checks before sharing them with the world."

The clacking of computer keys filled the air as his four students went to work. Don stared at Jill for several more seconds, waiting for her to look toward the front of the classroom. She never did.

*****

As class ended, Don wanted to walk over to Jill's desk and speak with her. However, he didn't understand the nature of her coldness toward him so he decided against it. They hadn't talked since their night of passion and, other than a few questions about her website during class, Jill hadn't said anything to him then, either. She even seemed to have gone out of her way to not look at him.

As Don shut off the projector and gathered his belongings, Jill stood and walked toward the exit. At the same time a smiling Maria was easing toward him. Just before Jill reached the door she pivoted and walked over to Don, startling him. Maria's smile faded as she turned and left the classroom. Don almost called out to Maria to ask if she needed anything but he didn't want to deter Jill from finally speaking with him.

"Hi," Jill said with her head down and only briefly looking Don in the eyes. "Can we talk? Outside?"

Don nodded before grabbing his bag and walking out with her.

They were both silent until they reached Jill's vehicle. She placed her things in her car before speaking. "Look. I'm sorry for not returning your calls this past week."

"...or answering my texts." Don said. "Did I do something wrong?"

Jill, still reluctant to look Don in the eyes, shook her head. "No. You didn't. I've been really busy this week. And I had to get this thing fixed," she said, motioning toward her car.

"So that's why you couldn't talk to me this week? Car repair?"

Jill glanced at Don. "I'm sorry. It's just..."

"I had a good time with you last week," Don said. He then looked at her for a few seconds before saying, "I thought you did, too. I thought we connected."

Jill nodded. "It was great. But I..."

"But what?"

Jill shrugged and shook her head.

"I wasn't going to ask you to marry me, Jill. I just thought we could go out sometime."

Without looking up at Don, Jill shook her head. "I can't."

"Why not?"

"I..." Jill said before pausing and exhaling. She then looked back at Don for several seconds - allowing her guard to drop for the briefest of moments - before averting her gaze.

A few moments later - with her guard back up - she glared at him. "I don't date," she said before getting into her car and leaving Don standing alone in the parking lot.

********************

Don held one arm around Maria's waist while his other hand held an umbrella over their head as a deluge of rain descended on them. They eased through the parking lot, trying not to splash themselves too much as they headed toward the restaurant entrance.

A soggy Don handed the closed umbrella to the greeter. Maria then wrapped herself around his arm with her head on his shoulder. "It's cold," she said as they were escorted to a table.

As they sat down, Maria continued to hold his hand across the table. "I'm really glad we got a chance to do this," she said with a big smile.

"It's nice, Don said with a nod. He then eased his hand from hers and began looking at the menu.

"I was actually starting to think you and Jill were dating," Maria said, startling Don, whose head shot up from his menu.

He then shook his head. "No. No. I mean, we went out once, but..."

"Oh. Well... I'm glad it didn't work out. I mean..."

Don grinned. "I understand."

He then looked into Maria's bright, beautiful eyes, searching for the same feeling evoked in him when looking into Jill's eyes. As he came up empty, he lifted his menu and said, "Let's see what they have here to eat."

********************

"Hey!" a chipper female voice said from behind him, startling Don as he stood in front of the classroom and prepared to teach.

A bit agitated, he turned around and then forced a smile as he saw who it was... and the grin she was wearing. "Hi, Maria."

"Did you see the new template I chose for my website?"

"Oh, yeah. It looks great," Don said, as he focused on setting up the projector. "It matches your personality, which is what you are wanting to go for."

"So my website is cute and sweet?"

Don almost gave a cursory nod before his brain warned him that Maria was trying to flirt with him. He then took his attention off of his laptop and turned to face her. She was wearing an adorable smile while biting her bottom lip. He couldn't help but smile back.

"Maria, if your website is half as cute and sweet as you, it will be incredibly popular."

Giggling, Maria playfully pushed Don before saying, "Stop it." As Don chuckled, Maria asked, "Hey, what are you doing after class?"

"I'm not sure, but I have a feeling I'm about to find out."

Maria laughed, as Don stood lost in her infectious charm. She then tugged at the bottom of his untucked polo shirt as she said, "Well, if you aren't busy, I was going to ask you to help me. I have some heavy boxes from work that I need to unload into my apartment. If you don't mind."

Don nodded. "Sure. I can do that."

With a huge smile, Maria gazed into his eyes as she said, "Thank you."

She then backed away from him, staring at him as she took her seat in class. It wasn't until she sat down that Don realized Jill was already in her own seat. It was the first time in weeks that Jill had entered class without Don noticing.

As he finished setting up his equipment Don could hear Randall, Curtis, and Jill talking to one another. He glanced at the threesome and caught Jill glaring at him. She then quickly turned away. But for the instant their eyes met she seemed angry. Don then overheard Jill say, "What's up with them?"

Don, trying to keep his attention on what he was doing, heard Randall say, "Hey, Maria? You fucking the teacher?"

Don looked up as Maria's face grimaced. "Ugh," she groaned, turning away from Randall and opening her laptop.

Curtis looked at Randall and said, "I guess not."

Randall then said to Jill, "Maybe you can give him some."

Don looked up as Randal and Curtis chuckled. Jill glanced at Randall before then turned and her eyes met Don's. He caught a glimpse of the unguarded Jill that had proved his weakness. She then turned her focus to her laptop. Don stared at her for a few seconds before finishing his set-up for class.

********************

Don's heart felt light in his chest as he pulled his car into the parking spot behind Maria's in front of her apartment building. He knew that unloading her boxes was a ruse and was growing excited at the thought of them being alone together.

"You don't live upstairs, do you?" Don asked Maria with a raised brow as he could see the stacks of boxes in her back seat.

She chuckled as she walked up to him before he reached her car. Standing inches from him, she said, "Would that be too much to ask?"

He looked in her back seat. "It depends on how heavy those boxes are."

Grinning, she felt his chest and upper arms. "Well, I'm on the first floor, but I think you could handle it either way."

Don's heart raced as he enjoyed Maria's playful touch. It was a less prim side of her that he had never seen before... and liked.

*****

Don carried the last of the boxes from Maria's back seat as he followed her to her apartment. She was wearing yellow, linen pants that were showing off the shapeliness of her backside, so each trip was a joy to him.

As he walked inside, he stacked the last box with the others just outside her bedroom, which sat just beyond her open kitchen. When he turned around, she had a glass of ice water waiting for him.

"Thanks," he said, taking it and quickly finishing half of it. "Those boxes aren't light."

"I'm sorry. It's my fabrics for the clothes I make. Like these," Maria said, turning and modeling the pants she was wearing. "Do you like them?"

"You made the pants you're wearing?"

Maria nodded.

"They look fantastic. You are talented."

"Thank you," Maria said with a smile.

Don found her cuteness intoxicating. He had a strong impulse to toss her onto the kitchen counter and have his way with her.

He finished his water and handed the glass back to Maria. Placing it in the sink, she spun around and walked to within an inch of Don. Rubbing his muscular chest, she said, "You can't be that tired. You're too fit. I almost wish I had something else heavy for you to lift."

"Are you trying to give me a workout tonight?" Don asked.

"Maybe," she said, still running her hand down the center of his chest. "Do you want to sit down with me on the couch for a little bit."

He nodded just as his cell phone rang. Don and Maria then backed away from one another, though their eyes told each other that the night wasn't over.

"Hi," Don answered his phone without looking to see who was calling.

"Umm... hi, Don," Jill answered. His confused look contrasted with Maria's soft smile as he excused himself and stepped outside.

"Is everything OK?" Don asked Jill.

"I'm not sure. My... uh... car isn't starting. Would you mind coming to take a look at it?"

Don looked at Maria's door for a few seconds, dreading the conversation he was about to have with her. "Yeah. Sure. Text me the address to where you are and I'll be there soon."

"You aren't busy right now, are you?" Jill asked.

"Uh... no. I'm fine. I'll be there soon."

Don re-entered Maria's apartment to her already lounging on the couch. The smile she wore faded as she read his face. "What's wrong?"

"I have to go. Um..." Don took a deep breath before continuing, "Jill - from class - she is... her car is broken down and she's stranded."

"And she called you?" Maria said as she sat up.

"Yeah. I helped her a little bit ago when her car wouldn't start." After a sigh, he said, "I'm sorry."

Maria pursed her lips and shook her head. "It's fine. Thank you for your help with the boxes." She then rose from the couch and opened her front door. Without looking at Don, she said, "Tell Jill I said hi."

Don nodded as he left. Maria threw the door closed hard enough to startle him. He looked back before walking to his car, feeling guilty, though he wasn't sure why he did. He also didn't understand why, though he was having such a great time with Maria, he was longing to see Jill.

*****

"Hi," Don said with a perplexed expression as Jill opened the door. He had no more insight as to why Jill called him - of all people - than Maria did. Especially since it was established that he wasn't much of a mechanic.

She greeted him with a smile as she invited him inside. Jill was wearing a thick cotton robe that was untied and open in the front. Underneath the robe she wore a skin-tight shirt with no bra and, what Don couldn't decide, were either small, tight shorts or panties.

"I was under the impression you were stranded."

"I sent you my home address."

"I didn't recognize the address. You know I'm not good with cars, right?"

Jill walked up to Don and said with a sultry smile, "You said you would take a look at it."

"I thought we were going to be calling AAA again. I thought you were stranded."

"Well... I'm not."

Don rolled his eyes. "Did you need anything else?"

A repulsed Jill said, "Am I keeping you from something?"

Don was confused as to how he could have two women to whom he did nothing wrong, angry with him on the same night. After staring at her for a few seconds, Don shook his head. "No. I wasn't... no."

"Did you finish helping Maria with her boxes?"

Realizing she must have overheard their conversation in class, a suspicious Don nodded. "Yeah. I was finishing up with her when you called."

"Finishing up with her, huh?" Jill said with a sarcastic grin.

Don's brow furrowed as he looked at her.

"I heard you two went out on a date," Jill said.

"Yeah. We went out once. To a restaurant."

Jill nodded. "Are you two... dating?"

Don shrugged. "I... don't know what to call it."

Jill looked down before asking, "Was it the same restaurant you wanted to take me to when you asked me out?"

Don was frustrated when he answered, "I hadn't decided when I asked. But you said no, so..."

Jill looked up at him and shrugged.

Don stared at her for a few seconds before saying, "Well, if you don't need anything else..."

Jill shook her head and said, "I'm good."

Don chuckled. He then turned to leave, grasping the doorknob as he heard her say under her breath, "I miss you."

The words reached into Don's heart and spun him back toward Jill. Her eyes glazed with tears as she said, "That night we spent together? I can't stop thinking about it. I can't stop thinking about you. The way you looked at me."

Don's heartbeat sped as he listened to her. She then said, "Please don't leave."

Don shook his head. They then walked toward one another, Don closing his eyes as he breathed in the feel of Jill's plush lips against his. His entire being was satiated by having her in his arms.

As they came up for air, Jill whispered to him, "Come here."

She then walked him back to her bedroom. Don laid back onto the bed with Jill crawling on top of him as they resumed their passionate embrace. His hands slid beneath Jill's robe and onto her hips as she began moving them in response to his touch, rubbing her covered pussy along his bulge.

Jill then moved to the side and began stroking Don's protruding erection. His eyes rolled back at the feel of her hand as she smiled at him. Don then stopped Jill and sat up in the bed.

"I don't mean any offense," Don said, "...but I do date. I'm a relationship guy. And I don't want to keep doing this if it isn't going anywhere."

Jill frowned. "So you'll leave me here on my bed half-naked and go home super hard if I won't date you?"

"It's not an ultimatum, Jill," Don said with downcast eyes. "I'm just not built for... just fucking around. And I think more of you than that. I really like you."

The silence from Jill prompted Don to look up at her. She, again, had tears in her eyes. Jill leaned toward Don as they fell into a tender kiss, prompting the two to lay back down onto the bed.

As the passion of the moment overtook him, Don pulled off Jill's shirt and took her nipple into her mouth. He teased it with his tongue while his hand slid inside the front of her cloth mini-shorts. His middle finger found her wet clitoris and began rubbing it, causing her to pant.

Jill wrapped her arms around Don's head, pressing more of her breast into his mouth while moving her hips in rhythm to Don's touch. Her pelvis then started involuntarily jerking as Don sucked harder on Jill's breast, intensifying her climax.

As Jill's orgasm ended, she released Don's head from her chest. He saw a sense of wonder in her eyes as they gazed at one another. Don brushed a bit of hair off of her forehead that was held in place by a light glaze of perspiration. After waiting for her breathing to calm, he leaned over and kissed her.

The two of them smiling, Don asked, "What is it about you?"

"What do you mean?"

"I've always been drawn to you. Since I first met you."

"Really?", Jill said. She then motioned toward her body. "Well... I am super hot, right?"

"Your body isn't what creates books for children. It's your eyes that make my heart melt. Not your body. And the first time we were together? You didn't make love to me with just your body."

Jill's chest heaved at Don's words. She placed her hand on the back of Don's neck and pulled him into a sustained kiss.

Once their lips separated Don said, "That wasn't your body, either."

Jill shook her head.

Don smiled as he rose from the bed and disrobed while Jill watched him. He then turned his attention to her, never breaking eye contact as he eased her shorts down her legs. Afterward, he lowered his body on top of Jill's until his tip fell between her thighs and onto her wet center.

They continued to stare at one another as Don eased himself inside her. Jill's eyes opened wider with every inch she received of his throbbing shaft. He then took his time sliding himself in and out of her with little effort as she grew wetter with every stroke.

Jill's mouth hung open, exciting Don who wanted nothing but to pleasure her. She slid her hand between their two bodies and began rubbing her clit. Don maintained his speed, though he added a forceful thrust each time his dick reached the back of Jill's pussy. She gasped with each pump as he began to see her head inch toward her headboard.

Don felt Jill's massaging of her clitoris become more vigorous as her hips started gyrating. He could also feel himself moving closer to climax and fought to keep himself in control.

Still staring at one another, they both began to pant. Don lost control and stroked her faster as Jill spread her legs wider and vigorously rubbed her clit. The power of Don's thrusts were shaking the bed and Jill's breathing had stopped. With their eye contact unbroken, they continued to fuck one another until they both exploded at the same time.

Don had never cum so hard in his entire life. For a moment it seemed like neither of their bodies would come down from the high. As their orgasms recessed and their bodies fought for oxygen, Don's heart was taken by the soft, sweetness of Jill's expression. He then saw her grin.

"What?" he asked.

"What is it about you?"

Don chuckled before asking, "What do you mean?"

"You make me feel... like I've always wanted a man to make me feel."

"That's a good thing, right?"

Jill laughed, putting her hand on her forehead. "It scares the hell out of me."

Don nodded. "You've been hurt."

"Yeah," she said with her eyes welling.

"I'm not him."

"Them," Jill said. She then chuckled as she turned her head to the side. "Them."

Don touched her cheek and guided her eyes back to his. "I'm not them."

The tears streamed as she asked, "How do I know you aren't?"

Don paused for a few seconds. "I guess you don't. We'll just have to take it slow. But I'm not them."

Jill nodded. Don then leaned in and kissed her once again before wiping the tears from her cheeks as she smiled.
