I looked over at her and smiled, "Thought you could use this," and handed her a steaming mug of coffee, black, two sugars, just as she liked.
"Thanks," Claire replied, "I could definitely use this. I feel like I got no sleep at all."
"Not me," I replied, "I have so much energy that," I caught her eye: "I could dance a tango right now."
The mug fell from Claire's fingers and shattered at her feet.
