John nodded and knew better to point out they'd panicked. Not that he might have done any better in that situation. He frowned and looked around the room. They were looking at him, guarded hope in their eyes. He swallowed and nodded. Feigning a confidence he didn't feel he said, "Let me go share that with my friends. We'll come up with a plan to make sure nobody else gets taken."
I'm seeing a trend in people complaining about the length of the chapters. Sorry, not sorry. Chapter length is important to a book for pacing. I suspect the real complaint is only getting weekly (or less frequent) postings. Or maybe you I'm clueless and wrong. Your opinion is yours and everyone has a right to feel how they feel - I won't argue that. However, as the dude who wrote the book, I'll post as, and when, I can. I'll keep posting this story (we're almost halfway through, btw), and others too.

Suggestionalmost 3 years agoGood story. When the man opened the door, it got a little confusing as to who was doing what. Be careful with pronouns when there are a large number present. I read it over a couple times and still did not get it clear. A good editor will catch these things for you.
You have a good style. You are right to release it at a pace that you are comfortable with. For a serial like this, your chapter length is not unreasonable.

maddictalmost 3 years agoWicked story. I'm not sure I've caught the very beginning of John's story. I started when John didn't know who he was, and I might of missed the last chapter. It's hard to keep up on Literotica, if they had a follow list. $$$$

Anonymousalmost 3 years agoIt IS a great story, you keep posting as long a chapter and as fast as you can. Just remember most of us that want more are Fans. I for one love the setting, the charcters and that Damn Imp is a Treasure. LoL. If there are before books in the verse of yours I never read them. Perhaps on the next thunderstorm day? Thnx Phineas
MimiRayalmost 3 years agoThese chapters will always be too short, simply because the story is so compelling and well written.
I'm not complaining, merely whining. You keep doing what's best for you, I'll keep reading. And true, not every chapter needs a sex scene. Even we sex addicts need time to do other things once in a while.

They want to read more of the story. So do I, but I also know that I can wait and read several chapters at once if I really wanted to. Apparently not as much as I want to gobble up the latest.

Still 5/5 stars. I don't mind the chapters without the sex. You have to move the story along and although the sex is exciting, it is only part of the story (my opinion). I look forward to reading more. If people complain about the story, how much did they pay for it? Thanks for your time and your imagination.
