Shades of Alice

Queen Alyssa met a terrible fate at the hands of the man who loved her shortly after the birth of her daughter, Alice. The girl was conceived on a dark night under mysterious circumstances. As a young woman the man who killed her mother feigns her death to appease a bitter king and delivers the girl to her father.
