Amelia's: the lights are dark.
Bodies dance to the sheer pleasure of musical shadows.
My hand touches someone's lips (lover? enemy? taboo?)
I kiss a secret, savouring the taste of shared innocence,
All the while, my heart shivers.

Amelia comes to me.
As I dance away to her loneliness,
She leads me to a dark corner of her mind.

She gives me a saxophone;
"Let it moan your heart," Amelia says.

The first notes are awkward, mismatched to my fingers.
But as the shadows dance, the sax becomes my lover,
And my fingers seek out the erogenous zones that make it sing.

Amelia rips away her clothing.
"It's my party," she says.
"I'll die if I want to."

The shadows fall away,
Amelia stands naked in the light.
My sax solo lasts 'til the end of tomorrow,
And I know that Amelia is dancing,
In the light of saxophone dreams.
