ancient mariner skippers an uncharted sea
His heart ebbs across the crimson horizon
an unmarked map his journey

littoral visions still looming
unsettling his once wobbly sea legs
a haunting reminder of lacerated seasons

sinking into an unending labyrinth
mourning guilds of the lost souls await
hope falls in a whimpering waterfall waning

he knows the night well as his senses
feel the aroma of a rainy smile
although storms been over quite awhile

gilded crystal tomb engraved
silently luring him into its grave
her name a chisel his heart her shrine

now just a sculpture buried deep
a path he had chosen so long ago
inscribing the tides of indigo...
