Another morning as I awake
Just like the day before
Sleep disrupted by the world
Reminds me what's in store

It's so hard to be a lonely boy
With my heart out on my sleeve
Girls just seem to talk to me
To get their chance to leave

You think that it is up to you
Decide you won't be sad
Memories you can't ignore
Return to drive you mad

I see you guide me down the hall
Like a movie in my mind
To be so close to you again
To see your eyes so kind

Although I try to make it back
No one wants a broken boy
To see that smile on your lips
Would bring me so much joy
