Dream

A moonlit night, you are my flower
My passion fruit I wait to devour
Tease me now oh precious one
Kiss my soul; your heart’s my sun
Fondle my nerves, ease my pain
Be my umbrella in a cold dark rain
Tickle my tongue with a sweet soft kiss
Guide my happiness to heaven’s bliss
An angel of love, a beacon of light
An eclipse of the moon that brightens my night
Oceans of lust my need does sing
A well of desire, an eternal spring
Falling, falling, falling
Into the abyss of a lust

And then I awake, alone again
With unanswered passion that drives me insane
Twas a dream of deception that felt so real
My beggar’s heart, my soul’s wanted meal
With the ache of lust I lay awake in bed
Wait for sleep to invade my head
And wait, and wait,
For a foggy dawn
And for my old clock radio to play a sad love song
