Southwestern winds moaned,
Soft caress settled in its passing,
Heated, searing knowledge shared
In newness of her gemstone being
Newness of her unexpected setting .

A madcap stampeding ride,
As if worshipped history itself I bestrode,
In gentleness,
In passion,
In eager longing for all that shaped her.

Such moments shining from within that veil,
That obsidian waterfall that was her hair.
No words, neither escaped nor plotted,
No imagery refined,
Nothing fit to reflect her shadow in my mind.
