With the caress meant to please me
When all it invokes is bitterness
A sense of loneliness
And a moment of emptiness
Am I that transparent?
That you, among all men, can read
The look upon my face and
Interpret it to mean
I am easy?
Easy? No not me.
Not easy in the morning light
Or the gathering dusk of night
Nor the hot heavy moments of noon
I will not give in or give up or give you
The satisfaction of being able to say
“I see.”
For you do not see,
You have never seen.
You are blind when it comes to me.
Drink this, drink this bitterness
This folly
And know that I am but a mystery.
And will remain so until the end
Of our time
Your time.

slow. I confess. I did not listen to the audio. I hear your words, and they speak of anger, a lil sadness and a go gett'm gurl. I loved this one Lindiana. I feel as if I missed something, like something not said, but I still get it. Makes no sense I know, but it is there btwn the lines. I love your sense of humor and your lil vent. You go gurl ~
