The lynch mob stormed the jailhouse,
And pulled the men from their cell.
They took them to an Oak tree,
And sent both of them to Hell!
The sad thing about this tale,
Is the mob hanged the wrong men!
Which just goes to prove my point,
Mob Justice is wrong "Amen!"
Any time a mob is raised,
To take "Law" into their hands,
It's a SAD thing for us all,
And warps all for which we stand!
"Vigilante Justice" stinks,
And destroys our country's might.
Any time there is no trial,
We lose a piece of what's right!
So, if you see a lynch mob,
Coming at you down the street.
If you've got a lick of sense,
Look down and say, "Get going feet!!"
