Like diamonds they fall from the sky,
Glistening as the moonlight hits them,
Glowing against the dark night sky.
The purity of the sparkling covering calls to me,
In a voice reminiscent of a forgotten lover.
I yearn to feel the touch of winter's icy grasp.
Slowly I let my robe slip from my shoulders to the floor.
I open the door shivering in the cold embrace.
Nude I walk out as if walking into my lover's arms.
The snowflakes lick my hot, bare skin like kisses from his lips.
Every nerve in my body is alive with the tingle of the cold touch.
I watch as the flakes turn into water droplets sliding down my bare flesh.
My nipples harden with the touch of winter's cold kiss.
My bare skin turning pink from its kiss.
Another flake melts and I watch the water droplet cascade between my breasts.
Making a wet trail down to my stomach.
Slowly I trace their path with my fingertip.
Looking towards the window I wonder if you are watching.
Reveling in my nakedness I slowly turn and begin to caress my body.
Following the path the snowflakes have left all over.
I move and sway as if dancing in a my lover's arms.
You see me beckon to you in hopes of enticing you to my side.
Saying "I want you" with my body alone, no words.
At long last my teasing pays off for out you come into the snow.
You enfold me in your arms, wrapping us both in a quilt.
Into the house and in front of the fire we make love all night long.
Outside it continues to snow.
Each flake shimmering like the facets of a diamond.
