fairytale

I do believe that people can change but the fact that she serially cheated on him with multiple men and did it in their own bed leaves me to believe that somewhere down the road, probably when the kids leave that she will cheat again

Edd, Of course that could be ...

... however that isn't how I developed the character of Millicent. Her promiscuity was adolescent in nature and she brought that into a marriage before she was of a maturity level to grow in that marriage. It is always possible for people to fall into past behaviors but that isn't the direction I would take that character in.

If you wish to do that with a sequel of your own, I have no problem with it.

A cute contrived romance.

Reconciliation is always a matter of attitude and opportunity. Michael would have lived happily ever after with Deb, but that opportunity ended. He had refriended Millicent while Deb was still alive, so it kind of made sense that he would reconnect with her after Deb died. Or, he just as easily might have met another woman more appealing than Millicent. Attitude and opportunity. Who can predict how they will end up? Maybe it will be Michael who falters in the future.

Thanks for your time in writing this story.

Interesting Romance

It would set off all kinds of discussion in Loving Wives. Here we have the problem that in the first marriage the two of them moved into separate worlds. Without contact it is easy for a relationship to wither.

Thoughts

“Dad's prenup agreement removed everything I brought into the marriage from consideration” – He signed a pre-nup protecting HER from her cheating?!

“I convinced Dad to take me on as a principle” – I BELIEVE the correct term there is “principal”.

I knew Deb was going to die, my only error was that I thought that she was already dying when Milli first met her.

YES!!

Sometimes, it is hard knocks and reaping what we have sown that bring us to that point where we are broken and only then can we appreciate what really matters in life.

This was a very emotionally moving story. Grace, mercy, contriteness, and humility. May we all learn this early in life. As the theme of 'Dead Poet's Society", Carpe diem... “seize the day” No one is promised tomorrow. Best we make the most of what we have and never take them for granted.

Milli became the person of humility and dignity. She returned the grace shown to her by supporting and leaning on Kiera, Michael, Clara, and Deb.

Oh for the romance...

Just didn't see it. There was apparently lots of fucking, but didn't see any love there. Mind you there was a shallow connection of sorts between Milly and Kiera, but that was about it. Didn't feel any love, so the betrayal didn't have a impact. It was written with no morals and little respect. It was a nice outline of a story, but the meat wasn't there.

The author

recycled one of his other plots here...wife cheats, they split, he remarries and has a child, second wife dies of cancer, but before she dies asks first wife in a letter to reclaim the husband, second wife dies and original couple reunite. There are differences, but the bones are the same.

Where is The Epiphanous Spouses?

Google found parts 1, 2, & 3 on a cuckold site which did not attribute the author nor provide any index/cross links to other parts.

I'm not even sure they are the story you reference, especially because you cite part 6.

You can contact me using form.literotica.com messaging if you want details.

ReadyOne

I purposefully took the story down because I was unsatisfied with the final part. I do intend to rewrite the story at some point. No other site is authorized to publish any of my content and I can find no contact at the site you mention.

@Mainefiddleheads

I figured something like you deliberately took it down, and thus I wanted to tell you where I found it.

Have you ever used the forum side of Literotica?

1. Open http://forum.literotica.com/

2. Logon as user "Mainefiddleheads". The same password you use to post your stories should work.

(Userids seem to be the same on both sides of Literotica; at least mine lets me post on the stories side and to the forum threads.)

3. Click on "User CP" for the user control panel

4. On the left hand side, under Private Messages, click "Send New Message"

5. Enter "ReadyOne" in the Recipient Username and include an email address as part of your message.

I will email you with the site where you are being illegally copied.

(This long way around is because the author feedback system is flaky and many have complained that messages sent from the stories side never arrive.)

In these stories I don’t see how the cheaters can claim to love their husband while screwing other men without their knowledge....especially when they do it in their husbands bed....that’s just taking disrespectful to another level. Then the shit she said when he walked in....yea...not really feeling the love.

Awesome story of redemption and rebirth, I wish it could happen for me.

Wait isn't there another story by same author that is similar? Except I think thr time gap is much longer? Michael is a Saint especially in that divorce encounter and then in the restaurant a few years later. I get that he saw that people can change with his 2nd wife Deb, but how did he really see the changes in Millicent? I mean he dated her before their first marriage. They lived together, though while finishing school. She spent over a year fucking behind his back with eight different guys. I know she says she always loved him but that isn't the love that a good person deserves or wants. She just thought it was love. I get that she went monastic for five years and them was temperate after seeing that he had remarried. I also get that she realized she was a selfish entitled prick that thought she could do anything she wanted. And it sound like it wasn't about the quality of her sex with Michael that was the issue beyond that they were both busy and misfiring on intimate time spent together. It was more she got a thrill from it and in some cases was a means to an end (hideously unethical) . Yes she worked but she fucked to get better grades while resenting Michael who also worked hard but didn't fuck for better grades. She probably had some inner guilt hence she sought time away from him to have her affairs. And she was so into the thrill and being able to do anything she wanted that she stupidly fucked the asshole in their bed playing into cuckold shit. Almsot as if subconsciously she was looking to get caught. What she said to thr asshole was terrible but I suspect Michael believed her in the divorce meeting that she did not mean a word of it. And we know from her mind she did not. We also know that the best sex for her was only when she really cared for someone deeply and really got into it. It sounds like with her professors it was more of an act that she played but derived guilty thrills nonetheless. In reality was better that he find out early because even had she hidden it better, eventually he would have been heartbroken as she would have cheated for the thrill of it. I believe she had an epiphany when caught and went on a vintage to be a better person. What the reader doesn't see is how she convinced Michael (or even Deb, with a worse background) of that. Where are the words and actions? Really, two months after the funeral he is dating Millicent? Hoe wad that arranged? Just seemed fated to be, but all the hard stuff happens off screen I guess. Still happy for her. She got married too early, grew up and found rede then regained her love.
