I have to agree with anon. Why slap? She's proven she's resourceful so instead of slapping she should have used that resourcefulness to do more damge. But other than that well done so far.

The slap is good. It gives a sense of coersion and innocence as opposed to force.

I know that it's been a while, and you may have long since lost interest in this story and are busy with real life, but can you please, please continue this story? It has such an interesting premise and I just can't get this out of my head! What happens to Piper? What about her family? What do the elves want from her? It breaks my heart a little to think that it's discontinued and I'm scouring the Internet for a similar work that's up to par with this one, but I've no luck so far.
