It's too bad if you can't recognize and enjoy the two different worlds.

And MariLeigh, the story's great. I really enjoyed the way you're peeling back layers, giving us enough to go on and be engaged, while still maintaining suspense and mystery. You did a great job giving is real characters instead of flat fill-in-the-blank roles with individual motivations, personality, and voices. The world is intriguing and disoreinting in a great way, too. Can't wait for the next chapter.

I was excited for The Mountain in the beginning but after this chapter, I’m 100% sure this is a Born to Be Bound fanfic. I don’t even like Addison Cain, but there are MANY similarities here. Lucy’s friend on the outside trying to find her, the fact they’re in a mountain, even the freaking lap scene when Lucy exclaims she can’t breathe and feels claustrophobic and how Warder has her sit on his lap — these scenes and elements are almost exactly like BtBB. Even the pacing. It’s funny how this is in the hall of fame, considering how BtBB was a huge success in the omegaverse world. Who would’ve thought a story that contains almost identical details of another would be famous elsewhere off the NYT Bestsellers list. I plan on reading to the end but all I can say is, in the most baffled and annoyed way possible, yiiiikes lol.
